Playa del Inglés has become one of Europe's top LGBTQ+ spots, and the Yumbo Center is where it all happens. It's a tangle of gay bars and clubs, all walkable.
This is the place for live shows and dancing. Sparkles brings in a rotating cast of drag queens and other performers, plus DJs who know how to keep the room moving.
You’ll find Sparkles in the middle of the Yumbo Center. It's easy to get to, and you can always wander to other bars if you feel like it. Check their website for show times and who’s performing.

We went with the intention of seeing the Show but, honestly, we were not impressed, I expected more. Some of the ladies were really amazing but some were not, they seemed like they were just doing their job and not enjoying their role at all. The service was great, especially the tall, skinny guy who was funny and always smiling
This was such a great show 👏 what a laugh 😃 bloody love a good drag show and all the queens were great 👍 would 💯 recommend if your in gran canaria 👏 and the drinks are very good too 👌 I was singing and dancing 💃🏾 all the way through It's located in the yambo centre
Ok so the show itself was really well put together. But here is the reason for the 2 stars. I ordered 2 soft drinks and the waiter said "and one for me?" I said sure. He was a bit cheeky. But that was ok. When the drinks arrived he had ordered a 4.50€ drink which to me is taking advantage. I don't know if this is normal practice to get more money in the till, or it was just a waiter that needs reeling in a little. But it left a bad taste in my mouth.
