Typical English pub with more people standing outside drinking than people inside eating! We enjoyed a quick meal there but it was very noisy and pricey so we didn't return. Great for younger people than us. 🤣

Great evening on Saturday. When we got there as it was a warm sunny evening it was packed outside, so we were lucky to get an inside table. Then the staff walked around inside and offered to get drinks for us, so we avoided the big queue at the bar. We then ordered food, which was really good, decent portions and not crazy expensive considering it was central London. It was a really good night and we'll certainly be back

Great atmosphere for young people and a beer

The management of this pub needs to instruct their staff to show some kind of customer service. I stopped for a quick pint today at about 2pm on a Thursday afternoon. I wasn’t greeted with any enthusiasm when I walked in. Frankly both the young staff members were busy on their phones. No surprise there to be honest but even after asking and receiving my pint there was no interest or interaction whatsoever. So an observation to the manager is: I suggest you instruct your staff to take on a more personable attitude in future as surely a warm welcoming greeting would be better? As a result of my experience I won’t be making a return visit and won’t be recommending this establishment to anyone.

I had a delicious Sunday roast this week and the staff are all lovely too. I will definitely go back again

Nicely decorated and furnished small pub. Food distinctively average (but fortunately not too expensive), with perfectly good beer. Serving staff were polite but seemed pretty disinterested in the job.

I had a really disappointing experience here. I stood at the bar for over 15 minutes waiting to be served, while multiple customers who arrived after me were served first. This actually happened twice in the last two days, so it doesn’t seem like a one-off mistake but a pattern. Being ignored like that is frustrating and honestly unacceptable for a bar. The staff didn’t acknowledge me or even make eye contact, which made the whole experience feel very unprofessional. I understand places can get busy, but basic awareness and fairness in serving customers should be expected. Unfortunately, this completely put me off coming back.
