Great service and everyone's nice!

Amazing. Not enough superlatives to describe. Made both myself and Helen feel very special. Thanks to ALL staff. Especially Wini this morning at breakfast who went out of her way to make my favourite Masala Chai. We WILL be back. ♥️

⭐ Extremely disappointing experience at The Savoy – Beaufort Bar We hired the Beaufort Bar at The Savoy for my brother’s 50th birthday celebration, expecting the exceptional level of hospitality and professionalism associated with The Savoy name. Unfortunately, the way an incident involving one of our guests was handled left us absolutely disgusted. During the evening, one of our guests had a fall and was clearly in need of some assistance. At a moment when we expected basic care and compassion, we were shocked by the response from members of staff/security. When we asked for water for our guest, this was refused, and instead of trying to calmly help with the situation, we felt the staff became rude, defensive and increasingly intimidating towards us. What upset us even more was seeing members of staff laughing about the situation in front of us, other staff members and some of our guests. For this to happen during a private 50th birthday celebration that we had hired the Beaufort Bar for was humiliating and completely unacceptable. We chose The Savoy because of its reputation for outstanding service and because this was such an important family occasion. We certainly did not expect to be treated this way when one of our guests needed assistance. The way the incident was handled put a very upsetting end to what should have been a wonderful milestone celebration. For an establishment of The Savoy’s reputation and standing, we expected considerably better — particularly when it came to the welfare of a guest. A deeply disappointing experience and one that we feel The Savoy should take very seriously.

Everything about it fabulous. We enjoyed an upgrade as it was my husband's birthday. Very professional and yet friendly staff. The vegetable pie from The gallery restaurant was delicious.

Received shocking service from staff in the American Bar. I went in as I was meeting a friend. I was waiting along time for a drink. Staff walking past not even acknowledging that I was there. A good few minutes later my friend arrived. ( Without dropping names he is a very well known face) Soon has they seen him the staff flew over. Is this how you treat normal people against famous people? I explained to my friend what had happened so we had one drink and went else where. My friend is or was a regular in your hotel but he will now take his business else where

We had afternoon tea and it was a memorable experience, made more so by the lovely warm and friendly service provided by Archie and Alexa.
