No dam tv, mold on the ceiling, no towels, ac ragedy, rusty
Place is truly a dump. They want 150 usd per room in the states that can get you a pretty decent hotel if not really nice depending on where. Here the rooms are beat up last renovated in the 90s fs. Ac unit will not get your room below 75 degrees. Bathrooms smells horrible. They want 6 bzd 3 usd for a cup of tea or coffee after breakfast. Pool is so gross looking. Back in the day this place was probably a gem but now its gem priced for garbage. I ate at the restaurant being the only one on there you'd think I would have great service. No, I ordered my food and then 10 mins later they came out and said they didn't have white cheese. The food was good but extremely slow. Like I said I was the only one eating at 7 pm. Hamming going on at 6:30 am like common sense completely out the window
We went to the casino and restaurant did not stay
Good water pressure, has AC, sea views, buffet breakfast. Has mini fridge and elevators.
No pool, no beach. No warning. Watered down drinks and room gets cool at best wont go lower. Window won't close bathroom is a sauna. So regretful even at the cost. Restaurant is absolutely deplorable 1st the breakfest 2nd time was dinner. Atrocious might be putting it lightly "KNOWING IS HALF THE BATTLE"
Pool is closed, not set to open till July. I say this because I called the hotel and they said the pool was open just from 8 am to 4pm but that is not the case. So the hotel was a once majestic place of splendor. But it is a bit run down. However that being said, room was sufficient, staff was very friendly, views were incredible. Very nice out door spaces. Staff again very nice and accommodating. Breakfast is scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, cut up hotdogs, fresh fruit, cereal, coffee, milk juice. Sliced ham sliced cheese, peanut butter, jams and sliced bread. Ohh and beans. Now more than enough options to get your fill. And if saving money hard boiled eggs and pb&js could be made and saved for lunch. Location is great, most all the excursion tours will pick you up and drop you off for free from here. That can save $5 to $10 each way. Right next to the hotel is a nice play park with eatery's at local prices. $3 - $7 USD meals. And 2 fancy restaurants and 4 nice bars. 2 to 3 min walk so close. Also across the street is a place called Sarita it's like a Baskin Robbins and TCBY yogurt in one. Movie theater and arcade. Peeked inside but didn't use. Looked like fun. But we're not into games and didn't travel to watch a movie. Casino, odds are crap in the Caribbean, mostly locals just dumping there pay checks on a dream. There is a snack bar inside that's open late. And was clean. Over all a safe place, would stay here again. And I think when the pool reopened will make this hotel a very attractive budget stay.
