Sarah Constant Beach Park

Sarah Constant Beach Park is a small public beach park on West Ocean View Avenue, facing the Chesapeake Bay. Online cruising reports name it as Norfolk's main outdoor spot. Activity is said to happen after dark on the quieter stretches of beach and around the parking areas, and the crowd is mixed. Nothing here is organised or sanctioned, and by day it is an ordinary family beach. Police patrol the area from time to time, and Virginia's public-indecency laws apply whatever the state's anti-discrimination protections say. Keep a low profile, leave nothing in your car and treat any reports you read as possibly out of date.
