OutFest Philadelphia è il festival cinematografico LGBTQ+ annuale della città, in programma ogni ottobre in sedi di Center City e del Gayborhood. Tra i festival queer più longevi della East Coast, OutFest riunisce lungometraggi, documentari e cortometraggi di autori statunitensi e internazionali, con opere che vanno dalle acquisizioni dei festival mainstream a lavori sperimentali o comunitari che altrimenti non troverebbero spazio in città. Il festival è guidato dalla programmazione — le selezioni riflettono un'autentica intelligenza curatoriale, non una logica commerciale — e include tavole rotonde, Q&A con i registi ed eventi comunitari accanto alle proiezioni. OutFest opera nella tradizione dei festival queer come strumenti di costruzione comunitaria: il pubblico in sala è parte del valore tanto quanto il film, e gli incontri casuali resi possibili da una settimana di cinema condiviso fanno parte del progetto. Le proiezioni si tengono al Philadelphia Film Centre e in sale partner del Gayborhood; abbonamenti e biglietti singoli sono disponibili online.
