EVEN Hotel Pittsburgh Downtown by IHG

This was within walking distance of many things including the baseball stadium. It was a nice, clean, quiet place to stay.

We walked every where from this locations. We'll definitely be using them again!

The hotel seems to be a part of a repurposing of the vacated downtown Kaufman's building. The details are nice. There is an exercise mat and some workout gear in the room. Cute bar where you can order a burger and a salad, have a mixed drink, wine, or beer.

They lie about their breakfast time, bar and market availability. Do not rely on anything other than a bed from them.

Hotel is located on 5th and 6th floor. Room is nice ans clean. Self parking is just across the street for $29 a night.

Modern, Quiet, and Refreshing After needing a last-minute place for a one-night stay in Pittsburgh, we decided to give the EVEN Hotel a try. While we weren't familiar with the specific brand, we’ve always had good luck with IHG properties, and this was no exception. It turned out to be exactly what we needed: a clean, modern, and incredibly quiet retreat in the middle of the city. The Experience The hotel feels very fresh and updated. Unlike some downtown hotels that can feel cramped or noisy, the atmosphere here was peaceful, allowing us to get a great night's rest. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the contemporary design made the space feel very welcoming. Parking It is worth noting for future travelers that there is no direct onsite parking. However, there is a public garage located just a very short distance away. We found the walk to be negligible and the process to be very straightforward, so it didn't take away from the convenience of the stay at all. Pros: Cleanliness: The room and common areas were spotless. Modern Amenities: Sleek decor and a layout designed for comfort and wellness. Quiet Environment: Despite the downtown location, we weren't bothered by city noise. Reliability: Lives up to the high standards of the IHG family. Cons: Off-site Parking: Not a dealbreaker, but requires a very short walk to the nearby garage. Final Verdict The EVEN Hotel was a pleasant surprise. It’s a fantastic option for anyone looking for a high-quality, reliable, and stress-free stay in downtown Pittsburgh. We would definitely stay here again.

As with any big city, construction made getting here a nightmare. There were so many signs! But we ultimately made it.

First let me say I have stayed at other EVEN hotels before and never had any issues. 1. Rooms are inside a larger building. You have to go to the 5th floor to even see the front desk. Front door is locked without a key at the Lobby level. You have to ring in just to be able to check in. Not very welcoming. 2. One of the main reasons I came to this hotel is for the bar and kitchen. That way I don’t have to venture out in the dark to find food and drink. However, after booking (on app) I find out that the bar and kitchen are only open Friday and Saturday. As a business traveler, I look for things for comfort and ease. Why have the amenities listed if they are not available to be used. 3. The Location is dreadful. There is a small sign out front of the building that points you to hotel. Barely readable from the stop light. This is downtown, it is crowded with buildings. Had to circle to find it several times. Then parking is also on that tiny sign. I ended up parking in the wrong location about 4 blocks away. Had to hike all the way back to the hotel. I would say in the end, if I had a choice, I would choose somewhere else to stay because this hotel is hard to find, doesn’t offer the amenities that are advertised on the app until after you book the room, parking and location are atrocious, and there are much better options available than this.

I traveled from Cleveland for a quick trip to celebrate my birthday. We stayed one night on a Monday. The hotel was so quiet, which I appreciate. The location of this hotel is awesome. You can walk to restaurants and shops. Target is a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is nice, clean, and modern. The icing on the cake was the staff. Mya was so welcoming and friendly. She gave excellent resturant recommendations. I will definitely be back!!!!!!
