There are no gay hotels in Odense, and in a city this relaxed you don't need one. The useful question is location: stay near the station and Kongens Have and you're a few minutes' walk from Lambda, the old town and the Odense Pride site in May.
By the station and Kongens Have
- Milling Hotel Ansgar: an 1895 building facing the park, about 74 rooms; the closest hotel to Pride day.
- Milling Hotel Plaza: classical building with 68 rooms and a garden lounge looking over Kongens Have.
- CABINN Odense and Danhostel Odense City: the budget picks right beside the station.
- First Hotel Grand: Odense's grand hotel from 1897 on Jernbanegade, 135 rooms.
- Comwell H.C. Andersen: the former Radisson beside Andersen's birthplace, with the light rail outside.
- Hotel Odeon: design hotel by the ODEON concert hall, breakfast included.
- City Hotel Nattergalen (formerly City Hotel Odense): 46 rooms near ODEON.
- Milling Hotel Windsor and Hotel Fyrtøjet (self-service, app check-in) west of the pedestrian streets.
Old town and ODEON

Out of the centre
Hotel Knudsens Gaard (a converted farmhouse near Hjallese), Scandic Odense and the Best Western Plus are on the edge of town and suit drivers. Earlier versions of this page called several of these hotels LGBTQ+-specialist; none of them markets itself that way, though all are ordinary, safe choices in a country with same-sex marriage since 2012.
