A wonderful discovery in the center of Bologna. Although the interior could use a bit of a refresh to freshen up the look of the place, the overall experience was absolutely excellent. ​The food: Excellent from start to finish. The cotoletta alla bolognese was simply top-notch, as was the tagliatelle al ragù, and the other dishes we ordered were also well-respected, confirming the excellent cuisine. ​The service: Truly superb. The staff was friendly, attentive, and attentive to every detail. Special praise to the tall, dark-haired man who served us (unfortunately, I don't remember his name): he was truly excellent and impeccable. ​The location and atmosphere: Situated in a very central and convenient location. ​A place I would definitely return to, highly recommended!

We returned to Nello's, a year later, with the pleasure of rediscovering a place that had left us with fond memories. And what better occasion to treat ourselves to two evenings of good food, hospitality, and service that truly makes the difference. We rediscovered everything that makes a restaurant special: excellent cuisine, attention to detail, attentive service, and an atmosphere that makes you feel welcomed, not simply served. But what deserves special mention is the person who accompanied us during these evenings. He was, in the eyes of many, an attentive, discreet, and professional "waiter." He embodies values ​​that cannot be improvised: the humility of someone who doesn't put themselves on a pedestal, the passion of someone who truly loves their work, and the helpfulness of someone who knows that hospitality is built on gestures, presence, and sincere attention to each guest. Because behind a well-run restaurant, there aren't just successful dishes, but people who put commitment, heart, and professionalism into what they do every day.
