Društvo Parada ponosa (Ljubljana Pride)

Društvo Parada ponosa (the Ljubljana Pride Association) organises Ljubljana Pride. The march through the city centre usually takes place in June, alongside a week of talks, concerts, film screenings and other cultural events. The association was set up by LGBTQ+ civil-society groups and also does advocacy work. It's an organisation rather than a venue, so there's no place to visit. The route and programme change from year to year: check ljubljanapride.org for the dates. Metelkova's queer clubs Klub Tiffany and Klub Monokel are the usual after-parade spots.
