El Cangrejo is a small, long-running gay bar on Carrer de Montserrat in El Raval, just off the lower Rambla. It is known for drag shows and Spanish pop, and draws a mix of locals and visitors that gets very tightly packed after midnight.
Per the listed hours it opens only Thursday to Saturday, from 23:00 to about 03:30. Arrive close to opening if you want space or a view of the show. As anywhere in lower Raval late at night, keep your phone and wallet close.
