Residence Inn by Marriott Port St. Lucie

We stayed 1 night ,be4 our cruise, bed mantras not comfortable at all ,it felt like we were sleeping on floor Also breakfast is weak,short in plates Cleanliness could ve better

As a Marriott Bonvoy member, I have stayed at numerous Marriott properties, and unfortunately, my experience at the Residence Inn Port St. Lucie was by far the worst experience I have ever had with the Marriott brand. Immediately after checking into my room, I discovered several issues that made me seriously question the hotel’s cleanliness standards and room inspection procedures. There was NO SOAP in the bathroom, the television in the bedroom did not work, and, most disturbing of all, I found a pair of someone else’s OLD SOCKS underneath the desk. Finding a previous guest’s belongings in the room immediately after check-in made it very difficult to have confidence that the room had been properly cleaned and inspected before being released to another guest. However, what turned a disappointing stay into an unacceptable one was management’s response. I brought these concerns to the manager expecting basic service recovery, accountability, and professionalism. Instead, I was met with a rude and dismissive attitude, and no meaningful effort was made to address the situation. There was no sense of urgency and certainly no level of hospitality that I would associate with Marriott. Rooms should be thoroughly cleaned, inspected, fully stocked, and have functioning amenities BEFORE a guest is given a key. When those standards are not met, management should at minimum demonstrate concern and make a genuine effort to correct the problem. I chose this property because I am a Marriott Bonvoy member and trusted the Marriott name. This experience fell far below the cleanliness, guest-room readiness, customer service, and management standards I have come to expect from Marriott. I sincerely hope Marriott Corporate reviews this property's housekeeping procedures, room inspection process, service-recovery practices, and management conduct. Finding another guest’s dirty socks in a supposedly cleaned room is bad enough. Having management respond rudely and fail to meaningfully address the concerns made the experience significantly worse. This was not simply an inconvenience. It was a complete breakdown in cleanliness, quality control, customer service, and management accountability. Without significant improvement, I cannot recommend the Residence Inn Port St. Lucie, and I would think twice before staying at this property again.

Just a interstate hotel. Some suspect patrons hanging around but the room was nice along with the staff.

1. The bathrooms are disgusting. The tub floor was so dingy and visibly dirty with old scuffs, and dirt that didn't come up when or if they cleaned it. The toilet had brown marks in the bottom. The bathroom is being poorly cleaned. 2. The bed was beat down! The middle of the bed was sunken down. The mattress felt like it was 15 years old. The place needs proper management.

Staying in the area for work for a few days and I love choosing a Residence Inn for having the comforts of the true "home" feeling, especially with the full fridge and kitchen. The rooms are what you would expect, clean and decent but could use some attention in my suite. Tattered furniture and stains but nothing out of the ordinary for a location like this. Glad I chose this location however because there was a lovely person that greeted me this evening and when you meet this kind of person upon checking into your hotel, it truly sets the tone for your entire experience. Alberta has a warm, welcoming smile and such a beautiful pleasant attitude. She is VERY knowledgeable and efficient. She has perfected her check-in dialogue and stated everything in such a way that I didn't want for anything. All the questions were answered before I could even think to ask them. She is a welcomed asset to this hotel and represents every aspect of what the brand should strive to achieve. If she hasn't been recognized yet, I'm appalled and astonished. I would literally book this same hotel just because they person and way I was greeted here and I travel every week for work. Highest commendation for Alberta!

The hospitality is a 5 star. This hotel is located near a huge strip mall. There's a Marshalls, Ross, and plenty of places to eat and purchase gasoline. There's free breakfast in the morning. It's ok. Children can enjoy waffles. If not to your satisfaction you have a kitchen to prepare your own or go out. There's a laundry room and pool. It's not a five star but the rooms are ok. It gets the job done.

I cannot tell you how impressed we were with the staff Everyone was helpful , accommodating and everyone was smiling ! This is not usually the case when we travel ! Hospitality is a tough job (knowing family members in the industry) Whatever you are doing—-keep it up Thank you for a great stay !

I stayed in the hotel 8 nights cuz of my work schedule besides Alberta and Kim I didn’t get to chance to meet or talk to other staff and besides I didn’t need to cause Alberta and Kim always went way above and beyond to make sure if I needed anything they were so helpful and made my staying there very comfortable and pleasant so I just wanted to point out to management about having those 2 lovely professional staff and just be happy and make sure don’t over look at their services because if they owned that hotel they wouldn’t be that much more accommodating
