Rainbow Festa! (レインボーフェスタ!) is Osaka's Pride: a weekend festival in Ogimachi Park (扇町公園) in Kita Ward, a short walk from Doyama-cho, run by the same committee as the Kansai Rainbow Parade.
The 12th Rainbow Festa took place on 10 and 11 October 2026, and the parade, in its 20th anniversary year, marched on Sunday 11 October. The first parade, in 2006, drew about 900 people. The most recent published attendance figure is for 2024, when organisers counted about 64,000 visitors and about 3,700 marchers, a record at the time.
Expect stage programmes, community and organisation stalls, food and a busy Doyama that weekend. The 2027 dates had not been announced when we checked; the festival is held in October each year, so watch rainbowfesta.org.
