Excellent price-quality ratio considering the hotel is right on the coast.

This is my second year in a row at the Arkada Hotel, and on both visits I was delighted by the relaxed atmosphere of the staff, but I must emphasize the special staff of the bar at the pool, the homely atmosphere and everyone having fun...the coffees you drink with Elma are special.

If you ever find yourself near this place, don’t miss the chance to stop by the pool bar with Elma and Nestor! The perfect mix of professionalism, warmth, and contagious positive energy — it’s a rare gem. Elma is the heart of the bar – always smiling, quick, attentive, and somehow remembers your order better than you do. She makes you feel welcome like an old friend. Nestor is the perfect partner – funny, upbeat, a cocktail wizard with a smile that can turn any day around! Together, they don’t just serve drinks – they create an atmosphere. One that makes you never want to leave. It's always cheerful, relaxed, and full of good vibes… like being part of their little summer family. From the first meeting and agreement with the restaurant manager, Nikola Roić, we felt welcome and in safe hands at the Arkada Hotel. We would like to especially highlight Nikola, who, with his professionalism, cordiality and humor, made the entire organization simple and stress-free. Communication was excellent, and our every wish was listened to and fulfilled. It has been a month since our wedding, and we are still under the wonderful impression of the entire day, especially the festive celebration at the Arkada Hotel. In the days before the wedding, Nikola and his team were a huge support to us, and on the day of the celebration, everything was perfectly organized, so that we could relax and enjoy every moment. The food was phenomenal, and praise also goes to the chefs (especially Berti and Tomo), the cooks and the entire staff who delighted us and our guests with their effort and quality. The ambiance by the pool was beautiful, the buffet was elegantly decorated, and the entire space was clean, tidy and very pleasant. The restaurant hall was beautifully prepared and decorated. Our guests who stayed at the hotel also had nothing but praise for the rooms and service. We would like to especially thank Danijela Repinac and Domagoj Bubal, whose commitment, kindness and professionalism left a strong impression on us. All our guests praised the waiters, who were full of energy, effort and kindness the whole evening, which is why everyone was delighted with the entire celebration. It is rare today to meet a team of people who do their job with so much heart, professionalism and a sincere desire for everything to be perfect for the guests. A heartfelt thank you to Nikola and the entire team of the Arkada Hotel for making our wedding unforgettable. I gave a 5 star rating for the service because the people are really good and do everything correctly and well, aside from the fact that the hotel is old, they do a very good job with what they have and everyone is very, very kind. We have been twice, last year the food was worse and if they fix everything here, it would be great. The rooms and everything else are ok, the prices are in line with that but the nature and service make up for everything, just have some food and it will be great. We will definitely come back again.

I am writing this review to warn others in the strongest possible terms. This establishment engages in blatant false advertising. The photos online are completely deceptive and do not reflect the reality of a property that is decrepit, filthy, and poorly maintained. Upon arrival, the room was extremely dirty and had an unpleasant, chemical-like fume that made it uninhabitable. The entire place is old, neglected, and feels like a safety hazard, not a place of rest. Furthermore, the staff was consistently unhelpful and indifferent to these serious concerns. This was the absolute opposite of a relaxing getaway and was a complete waste of money. BEWARE: Do not book here. The risk to your wallet, your comfort, and your safety is not worth it.
