Ile du Ramier

The wooded paths of the Ile du Ramier, the island between the two arms of the Garonne, are the best-known outdoor gay cruising ground in Toulouse. The zone lies off the Chemin de la Loge behind the former casino, reached by a footpath into flat, partly-shaded parkland; it sees activity both by day and after dark. As with any outdoor cruising, discretion and common-sense caution apply, especially at night, and note the wider island is undergoing municipal redevelopment into a park, so the exact paths shift over time.
