Almost everything is said with the 5-star rating. Our stay in one of the Igloo Pods (with the Nordic bath) was unforgettable. The staff is very welcoming and always ready to help. Everything was perfect, including the Les Explorateurs restaurant. We can't wait to stay there again next season!

We have been regulars at the Hotel Pashmina since it opened, and once again, our stay was absolutely remarkable. We had a wonderful time, thanks to impeccable service and the ever-warm and elegant atmosphere. Under the attentive management of Mr. Cédric Gorini and his wife, the hotel maintains a consistently high level of standards and quality that makes all the difference. A big thank you to the entire team for their professionalism and kindness, with special mention to Dana and Pauline at reception, Clémence at the concierge desk, Jean-Mi, Elie, Lola, and Alicia in the restaurant, Logan at the bar, and Patrizia, who takes such good care of our comfort in our rooms. It is always a real pleasure to return, and we are already looking forward to our next stay.

But where can we give a sixth star? ⭐️ Morning at Pashmina – Spa & Brunch A truly exceptional experience. The spa is superb, with a special mention for the outdoor jacuzzis, which are absolutely incredible under the spring sun. A real escape to relaxation. A huge thank you to Éloïse and Benjamin, two very attentive, professional, and caring therapists—their guidance makes all the difference. As for brunch, it's flawless: delicious, varied, and made with high-quality ingredients. The desserts are simply exceptional. Thanks also to the reception team for their invaluable advice… especially to save room for dessert: excellent strategy 😄 An experience I wholeheartedly recommend!

We went there just for drinks, but it was already a wonderful experience. A prestigious setting without being kitschyly luxurious. We also enjoyed a fantastic little acoustic and vocal concert.

This was my third stay at Hotel Pashmina in Val-Thorens, and each visit reminds me why this place is truly exceptional. I’ve experienced it in every configuration, recently on my own, with my wife in the Igloo Pod, with my family, and every time, it feels like discovering a rare oasis in the heart of Val-Thorens’ often lively and noisy atmosphere. After travelling to Val-Thorens for over 30 years, I can confidently say that Hotel Pashmina fills a gap the resort didn’t even know it had. It embodies the true spirit of the mountains: a refuge, a retreat, a haven for travellers who want authenticity, calm, and genuine hospitality. Once you arrive, there’s no need to go anywhere else. Everything is thoughtfully provided: two excellent restaurants, a cosy bar with light entertainment by the fireplace, a spa, a gym, a ski shop, and above all, a level of personalised service that feels both professional and sincerely warm. The spa alone deserves a special mention, complete with a swimming pool, hammam, sauna, and two outdoor hot tubs overlooking the mountains. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a day on the slopes. For dining, Base Camp offers delicious daily dinners and an irresistible dessert buffet, while the Explorateur provides an unforgettable gastronomic experience for a special evening. What sets Pashmina apart is the love, passion, and meticulous attention to detail that shape every corner of the hotel. Coming from a high-performance sports background, I know how much difference that extra 1% can make. The Gorini family clearly shares this mindset. From the architecture and room design to the atmosphere in the corridors, the quality of the service, the consistency of the staff, and the presentation of each dish, everything reflects a commitment to excellence that surprises me every time I return. Most importantly, this is a place created and run by true mountain and ski enthusiasts. Their pride, passion, hard work, and generosity are woven into the identity of the hotel. This is the essence of Pashmina. Every time I leave, I feel a touch of melancholy, already looking forward to my next stay. I leave relaxed, recharged, and ready to take on new challenges with my team. Hotel Pashmina is more than a hotel; it’s a place that stays with you long after you’ve gone.

We had a diner in Le Base Camp restaurant. I had an octopus starter. It was like chewing gum. The waiter would pass it on to the kitchen staff. After 30 minutes, i asked the waiter what the kitchen has said. He told me that the kitchen said; Sometimes its good and sometimes is bad. Too bad. Thats a very strange answer to a complaint. Later on the Manager asked if everything was okay. I told him what the waiter told me. His answer was; that he don’t understand the Octopus was like chewing gum because they cooked it for 24 hours. Thats it. Really strange reactions for a place with a Michelin Star Restaurant.

Another unforgettable skiing holiday at Hôtel Pashmina, which truly feels like a home away from home. The staff is exceptional, always going the extra mile to make every guest feel comfortable and welcome. The hotel perfectly balances a relaxed yet luxurious atmosphere—never pretentious, yet indulgent at every moment. The dining experience is outstanding, from the fantastic restaurant to the heavenly breakfast, where Jean-Michel ensures a perfect start to the day. Evenings are just as special, with a fantastic bar, live music, expertly crafted cocktails, and an impressive wine selection—far beyond what you’ll find anywhere else. Our XL Junior Suite (thank you, Dana!) was just perfect—quiet, incredibly comfortable, and offering a stunning view from the balcony. The spa and outdoor jacuzzi provide ultimate relaxation after a day on the slopes. The ski shop is top-notch, with knowledgeable and helpful staff (thank you, Robin!). Hôtel Pashmina offers the perfect combination of ski-in/ski-out convenience, relaxation, and luxury. There’s truly no other place like it. We can’t wait to return!

Spa tested: adequate You feel like you're part of a large family, no glitz and glamour here, a far cry from the Courchevel hype, and with exceptionally high-quality service. A great deal of kindness from arrival to departure. Looking forward to next year.

Another thoroughly successful stay at the Pashmina. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly, which is especially appreciated when you have young children. The food is a real highlight. The Michelin star is evident in everything else, particularly the breakfast. The spa is lovely and surprisingly uncrowded, even during the peak February school holidays. We can't wait for next season!
