We went to Hasır Restaurant Berlin with friends, trusting the high ratings in the reviews, but unfortunately we were not at all satisfied. The service and the attitude of the staff were unpleasant. Although there were four of us, only three small salads were brought, and when we mentioned this, unnecessary tension arose. Even asking about the ingredients of an item on the menu almost turned into an argument. We received neither complimentary items nor any approach that valued customer satisfaction. The prices are high, and the taste is not as good as advertised. It is not a place I would choose again.

During our trip to Berlin, we chose this restaurant because it was relatively busy and the reviews were mostly positive. Unfortunately, despite the delicious food, our visit was somewhat disappointing. The lahmacun and izgara köfte were already sold out – and this was on a Friday at 4 pm! My husband and I didn't receive glasses for our drinks, only the children did. We also ordered a Çoban Salata with our meal, which was unfortunately forgotten. The children's portion of the doner kebab was extremely small. There were barely two or three tablespoons of rice on the plate. We also ordered Iskender. The meat and sauce were tasty, but the bread pieces around the edges were quite hard. After our meal, we ordered tea. Both of our glasses were dirty, so we couldn't drink from them. It was a real shame. In our opinion, the price-performance ratio wasn't right.

If I were to give a grade, I would give a 6.

Here you can get excellent Turkish cuisine in a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. If you're looking for truly delicious and authentic food and appreciate a down-to-earth, relaxed ambiance, this is the place for you. The food is absolutely fantastic – highly recommended!

The original Berlin döner kebab! Even late at night, it's still packed. Unfortunately, the service wasn't well-organized. You also get the feeling that you're paying a premium for the name and the history. Important: If you want a regular döner, you have to queue and pay outside at the window. The regular döner isn't on the menu inside the restaurant.

Overall, it's very nice, and the prices reflect that. You can find cheaper and tastier options.

A fantastic Turkish restaurant with class, authenticity, and excellent service. The staff is very attentive, professional, and friendly. The food arrives smoothly and is of outstanding quality and taste. The restaurant is beautifully designed and inviting. Highly recommended. The menu also offers a wide variety of options.

Unfortunately, the waiter wasn't very friendly. Furthermore, I think the prices are a bit too high for the portion sizes offered.

The döner kebab was lean, the rice was mushy, but the conversation, chatting, and hospitality were wonderful.

The food was quite good, but I think some of the staff need to be more attentive to customer communication. The situation we experienced, especially when paying the bill, was unpleasant. My boyfriend is Italian, and tipping isn't very common in his culture. Therefore, being questioned about why we didn't tip was unpleasant. Also, the waiter's attitude was quite rude and unnecessary; the way he practically threw the bill at us was irritating. I think a more professional and understanding approach towards customers is necessary.
