Ariane Hotel

I've made a booking for a room, the friends with whom I was about to come got unavailable so I needed to cancel. The hotel put me onto a do not respond because all the time i call them from other numbers are responding but when I call them even spam them with calls to cancel my booking they do not respond

It is convenient to have easy access to Cologne Central Station via public transport and on foot, and there is a supermarket nearby. They changed the bedding and towels during my two-night stay, so I experienced no inconvenience. However, the downside is that it is a bit noisy as it is located near a tourist area. Overall, I am satisfied.

The location is quite good, but that's about it. The cleanliness in this hotel is insane. I don't understand how a hotel chain can offer such dirty and unhygienic rooms to people who haven't even paid a small amount for them. Everywhere you look, you find dirty stains—in the hallway, the bathroom, on the bed linens, on the nightstand, on the curtains, and so on. So, if you value cleanliness, stay far, far away from this place.

Room was a little hot (we were 5th floor), but clean and great location. If you just want a place to sleep and enjoy the lovely Cologne, this hotel is great. Quiet, clean, cheap.

I will definitely not choose this hotel again. The rooms are small and inadequate.

The only positive thing about this hotel was its location. That was it. The service was unfriendly and they didn't seem to care at all. Furthermore, the whole place reeked of stale smoke and a musty smell. There was obvious mold in the bathroom and the room. Cleanliness was nonexistent. The third bed was a leather couch that was completely out of place, as was the main bed. There were already stains on the sides, and one spring was sticking out. The corners in the bathroom were broken and dilapidated, as was the bathroom itself. Everything was broken and old. It had an 80s style, if that's the right word. The electrical outlets were loose, and the carpet was loose on the floor even though it should have been firmly attached. The hallway was also dirty, musty, and cramped. I've never had such a bad hotel room, and I've traveled extensively. Disgusting. Absolutely not recommended! The mold is a health hazard!

It's in the city, so you'll need earplugs! The rooms are extremely small, but they have everything you need! Okay if you just need a place to sleep.

Not as expected. Dirty, old. Thin walls and doors. I overheard the neighbor talking on the phone. No dogs allowed. Credit cards accepted.

My wife and I went to the hotel in person to make the reservation, and they said our names were on a blacklist. I've never stayed at this hotel before, so I don't understand how they can be on a blacklist.

The location is very good. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are very basic and desperately need renovation. I was glad to be able to check out after 3 nights. Next time I would definitely book a hotel with a higher star rating.
