Not luxurious, but very practical, clean, efficient, and breakfast was good too. Always a good choice for an overnight stay.

The hotel was supposed to be ours for two nights. The lobby was simple and minimalist, but adequate. The elevator was covered with foil, presumably due to renovations, oh well. The room had a plastic shower cubicle and a small toilet... there didn't seem to be any ventilation. The fact that there were only two electrical outlets is one thing, but the beds were an abomination. Just boards, no springs, and rock hard. And all that for €150 for a double room?! We would have been better off in a youth hostel. We mentioned this at reception and were told it would be better after the renovation. That's no use to us now, though. Breakfast for two days was okay; the eggs could have been a bit softer, and the tables could have been larger. The hotel's location was central, although you had to walk through the train station, where you were exposed to a multitude of "odors." Whether we'll stay at Ibis Budget hotels again is questionable.

Good hotel

The Ibis Budget hotel impresses above all with its excellent, central location. The train station is in the immediate vicinity, making all forms of public transport quick and easy to access. The popular Lister Meile, with its numerous shops, cafés, and restaurants, is about a five-minute walk away and invites you to a leisurely stroll. The Ernst-August-Galerie shopping center is also just a few minutes' walk away and offers a wide variety of shopping opportunities. From there, you can directly access the adjacent pedestrian zone. As is typical for an Ibis Budget hotel, the rooms are rather simply and functionally furnished. However, they are perfectly adequate for a short stay. The cleanliness and tidy condition of the rooms are particularly noteworthy. The service is very friendly, attentive, and helpful. The breakfast is solid and offers everything you need for a good start to the day. Those who prefer a bit more comfort and upscale amenities will find a suitable alternative right next door at the Novotel Suites Hannover. Overall, a highly recommended hotel for city breaks, business trips, or anyone looking for a central location at a fair price.

I made a reservation and cancelled it after an hour, so I ended up at the wrong hotel. They charged more than the full price than fees; I could have slept the night just as well.

The conditions are normal, but the walls are thin and you need to WARN that repair work will be going on from 6 am!!!!

The reception staff were very friendly! I'd gladly stay there again! The room was clean. Quiet!

It's a budget hotel. For the price, you get what you'd expect. Friendly staff.
