Basic Instincts at 8 Eustace Street is Ireland's main adult and fetish boutique, sitting next to the Irish Film Institute in the middle of Temple Bar. The shop floor carries fetish gear, leather, toys and club wear, and the staff have a reputation for being genuinely helpful rather than intimidating. Downstairs there is a basement cruise cinema — the only indoor cruising space in Dublin outside the Boilerhouse sauna — which is busiest on Saturday afternoons. Open seven days a week; the cinema has a separate entry charge.
