Lovely hotel and lovely room. The receptionists were always helpful.

I've stayed at several Thon hotels, and this one maintains a consistently high standard. It's conveniently located near the train station and easily accessible by bus and tram. There are cafes and restaurants around the hotel. The rooms are clean, and I stayed in room 701, which was large and spacious. What impressed me most was the view from the fitness center, making my morning workouts enjoyable with such a great view. However, for those staying during festivals, I recommend managing your breakfast time well, as there might not be enough seating during peak hours, although the wait isn't usually long. I stayed during Norway's National Day, and the hotel was fully booked, which I understand. I would still recommend this hotel if you're looking for accommodation in Oslo.

Great hotel. Superb location – perfect for whatever you want to see in Oslo. It was very quiet. The street in front of the hotel has hardly any traffic. The hotel itself was also pleasantly quiet. Getting there from the airport was easy; the train station is just a short walk away. Highly recommended for a visit to Oslo.

A good hotel, centrally located not far from the cathedral and shopping district. Friendly staff who were always helpful despite the strike. The rooms are clean and the beds are long enough. We can definitely recommend this hotel.

My girlfriend and I stayed for 3 nights and had a great time. The hotel is very centrally located, walking distance to everything, but the public transport stops are very close and convenient. The rooms are very clean and spacious, and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast was very varied and well-stocked. The only downside is the limited choice for those who prefer a sweet breakfast. Overall, a well-deserved 5 stars, especially considering the fairly reasonable price.

I’ve stayed at Thon Hotel Cecil 3–4 times already, and every single visit has been excellent. The staff are always professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful, which makes every stay even more enjoyable. The location is perfect…right in the city center, with everything you need within walking distance. It’s ideal whether you’re visiting for business or leisure. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and extremely comfortable. You can really relax after a long day in the city.. or after work.. One detail I especially appreciate is the coffee machine in the room, which is very important to me as a big coffee lover. It’s such a great touch to be able to enjoy a good coffee anytime. The breakfast is truly outstanding, with a huge variety of fresh and delicious options. There is something for everyone, and it’s the perfect way to start the day. Another big plus is the gym, which has everything you need to stay fit during your stay. It’s well-equipped and very convenient, especially for guests who like to keep up with their routine while traveling. Overall, Thon Hotel Cecil feels like my first choice whenever I come to Oslo. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be staying here again.
