Checkin Atlántida Bungalows

A place I will never return to. The food selection is very limited and leaves much to be desired. The cleanliness of the facilities is clearly inadequate; during my stay, I found cockroaches in the room, which is completely unacceptable. Furthermore, on several occasions, I placed the "room cleaned" sign, and far from fulfilling my request, they removed it without cleaning or changing the towels. The overall feeling is one of neglect and a lack of customer service. It was a very disappointing experience, and I will certainly not return or recommend it to anyone.

This is our second time there and we've just gotten back. The value for money is excellent. The rooms are spacious, like mini-apartments, with a large balcony. The restaurant offers a wide selection of international cuisine. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there's entertainment every evening. The location is excellent, just steps from the Los Cristianos seafront. Highly recommended.

We stayed for six days on a half-board basis and everything went perfectly. The apartments are very simple and basic, they could use an upgrade. The bathroom has some plumbing problems and the Wi-Fi didn't reach our apartment. Apart from that, it has all the necessary amenities, the bed is comfortable and it was always clean. The three swimming pools are good, as is the dining area; both breakfast and dinner had good food with some variety. The location is excellent. We rented a car and visited the whole island; the easy access to the apartment and the fact that there were always plenty of parking spaces outside was perfect. It's a three-star hotel that could use some maintenance, but for the price, it's worth it!

No air-conditioning, room cleaned every 3 days. Same breakfast for a week, bad wifi in rooms, bad drinks.

Very very dated and alot of steps. Painting started to happen whilst we were there in May. Really it should look nice all year round. Food was mainly pork or fish. Some salad and desserts. Breakfast was the best meal however always burn’t.

We stayed for 6 days and everything was excellent. Plenty of food, very good cleaning service, entertainment at the middle pool (they have shows every night), the pools are equipped with height-adjustable sun loungers, parasols, and the entire area is covered with artificial grass. The dining room staff were very friendly, nice people, and pleasant, as were the reception staff and the woman who wanted to rent us a jet ski! I would go back again in a heartbeat and I highly recommend it.

We were treated wonderfully. The apartments are very well-equipped with their own terrace, and everything was very clean. They're very close to Los Cristianos beach, just a short walk away. Boats depart from there for dolphin and whale watching, and you can always see them. We had two wonderful days.

Our stay at Checkin Bungalows Atlantida in Los Cristianos was quite disappointing overall. The hotel looks much better in the photos than in reality. The pictures online are bright and modern, but the hotel itself feels very tired and outdated and definitely needs cosmetic renovation. When we arrived, we were first given a room that looked nothing like the advertised photos. The receptionist initially refused to move us, saying the hotel was fully booked, although it clearly did not seem that way. Eventually, because we were travelling with a one-year-old child, we were moved to a more suitable room. The room was not filthy, but housekeeping was very superficial. There were hairs on the floor, a dirty toilet and cobwebs in the corners. The terrace also looked neglected. I was also surprised that there was no proper soap dispenser, no tea or coffee facilities, and no minibar at all, even in a 3-star hotel. On the positive side, the food was actually good and varied, and the three swimming pools were nice. Overall, the hotel is not terrible, but the online photos and advertising are quite misleading and create much higher expectations than the reality.

Easy going, anything is not to much trouble Mrs got Hairdryer €10 deposit. Happy days.
