Vanilla Garden Boutique Hotel

The hotel is a quiet oasis frequented by many older English people. There's often a sweetish scent on the terrace, probably from the lovely things sold by the friendly street vendors 🙈. The location is perfect for those who enjoy loud parties with drunken English people. The food is, of course, geared towards the many English guests, with few variations.

Worth repeating. Within walking distance of everything, but once you are in the hotel, it is cut off from all the hustle and bustle and quiet. Breakfast is good, rooms are clean. The pool is great, no towel races. Live music every evening and very friendly staff.

We have been to this hotel for the 3rd time. We think it is a wonderful hotel. It is an oasis of calm amidst the noise that inevitably characterizes Playa de las Americas. The small scale and architectural style are a breath of fresh air among all those huge hotels you see everywhere. The adults-only concept is very nice. The staff at the reception, in the kitchen, the waitstaff, the housekeeping team, etc., are amazing. They really make the difference!! The pool is large enough, with comfortable sunbeds by the pool. I believe there are also plenty of sunbeds available. A nice breakfast with a wide selection. It is lovely to have an omelet or crêpes made in the morning. For those who like it, bubbles are available at breakfast. You can also have a nice lunch there in the afternoon for great prices. Due to the central location, you can walk to the beach in no time, for example Playa de Troya (2 sunbeds with fixed straw parasol €12). In the evening, you can take a nice walk along the boulevard to Costa Adeje or to the center of Playa de Las Americas. Is there not a single downside to the hotel then? If you want to, you can of course always find something... In the suite bathroom, for example, the rain shower could be renovated. All in all, it was a wonderful stay for us!!

Google vibe, the location for all ages

The hotel is very good. Adults only. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room is very large. However, it is located on a sloping road.

Upon arrival, we received a welcome drink. The room was already ready. Clean and tidy. Cleaning comes every day. Breakfast looks good. Something for everyone. We did not make use of the dinner service. The pool is clean and quiet. No reserving sunbeds with towels. Happy hour between 3 and 5! Tip! The pool-side room is quiet, so you are minimally bothered by the nightlife outside the hotel. The reception is very friendly and happy to help.

Fantastic quiet place if you really want to relax

Absolutly perfect little hotel. Right in the middle of the action for Amercanas, but far enough back that you aren't bombarded with noise etc. Brilliant little gym which is better kitted out than some leisure centres ! Staff are friendly and lovely and the food is really really good and varied. Will 100% be coming back!

A great hotel! Located in a fantastic spot. Quiet, yet close to all the hustle and bustle. The beach is within walking distance, but why go to the beach when you have amazing sunbeds by the pool? The staff is friendly, especially the fantastic breakfast chef Rafa. The breakfast is top-notch! Everything is neat and clean. The “hotel gym” is also fine for the workout you might want to do on vacation. If you don't find this good enough, there is a top-notch gym in a shopping center just a 20-minute walk away.

The hotel is nice but the location is a bit disappointing, but that's just the nature of the area; Playa de las Americas is more for very young partygoers...

The food is not that good and the servers are not known for their friendliness. However, the reception staff are super nice.

We arrived on May 4th and were greeted by Rene, a charming Cuban (I must mention all the hotel staff were very polite and attentive) with a refreshing glass of cava as a welcome gift. We chose the junior suite with a jacuzzi to celebrate my birthday. The room was amazing, with views of the pool. The bed was like a cloud, everything was very clean and smelled lovely, towels were changed daily, and the jacuzzi only needed to be filled once. As a welcome gift, they gave us a sparkling rosé and fresh fruit, a lovely touch, and since it was my birthday, they let me choose a bottle of wine at the restaurant. The heated pool (almost no hotel has this) and the jacuzzi, accessible to all guests, were spectacular. A centrally located hotel that, if you want to enjoy its amenities, this is the hotel for you. However, the food leaves much to be desired. Breakfast was average, but dinner was awful; we didn't eat well any of the three days we stayed. We opted for half-board; it's better to book a room with breakfast only. Also, the meal times are a bit out of sync, as in Spain, dinner ends at 9:30 pm. The common areas are perfect.
