Beech Hill Hotel & Spa

Had an absolute amazing time here ,the location is perfect and the Spa is next level. The food and services were excellent, and having a perfect full English breakfast looking out over lake Windermere is a priceless experience. I planned a stay there to celebrate our engagement and without hesitation we were upgraded to the Windermere suite and given a glass of champagne. The whole team were so friendly and welcoming, they really made our stay unforgettable. 6 stars Thanks

Spent 2 nights here for a birthday getaway. First off, we already knew the place was undergoing refurbishment, so it wasn't an unexpected surprise. Owing to this we were given free access to the spa. Pool, 2 hot tubs, sauna and steam room. The outside spa was under construction. We had a room on the bottom floor, and the view was absolutely stunning . The outside area was partly rubble and scaffolding, but we were aware so cannot complain. We had a junior suite and it was very spacious and clean. No complaints at all. Food on offer was more geared to pub grub which surprised me, as being billed as a spa hotel. However it was pleasant. Apart from a restaurant member having a little moan about his shifts, the other members were very good. Lovely bar area too. Highlight for me was a full body massage from a girl called Meghan, who was absolutely delightful and was a total professional. Chatty, friendly and gave an excellent massage. Thank you. Overall it was a lovely experience, but I doubt I would return. One note, our room wasn't cleaned after our first night, or replenished with tea/coffee etc.

When we arrived we was dealt with my Michelle on reception. She went above and beyond to help and meet my mums needs. The spa massage was out of the world done by Megan. One of the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend

Fantastic stay! We had a personal recommendation for this hotel, and it exceeded our expectations. Our suite was spacious with a large comfortable bed and luxury bath & shower. The best part was the hot tub on the deck and the view over lake Windermere, forests and the hills of Cumbria! And the weather was beautiful! Thank you to all the staff who were made sure we had a great stay - Carl, Morgan, Keira and Michelle on reception, thank you to Paulina on the bar for the fabulous afternoon tea. The breakfast boys - Freddie, Kieran and Ewan managed everything efficiently & with a smile. We enjoyed the spa facilities all to ourselves, thank you Megan for your welcome. We will visit again - the new outside infinity pool and spa looks like it will be amazing.

Great lake view we had the suite which was big and spacious but a very small bathroom, staff worked hard but ordering food at the restaurant was a bit disappointing considering there were no waiters so had to cue at the bar not what you would expect for a hotel of this calibre.

An absolutely gorgeous hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a friendly member of staff who checked us in and explained where everything was located. The spa facilities were immaculate, so relaxing and beautifully maintained. I was booked in for a hot stone massage, and my goodness, it was incredible! Megan was my therapist, and she was simply amazing. She was super friendly, professional, and made the whole experience even more special. The treatment was one of the best I’ve had, and I’ll definitely be requesting Megan personally for any future bookings. Highly recommend both the hotel and spa experience!

Just had a great stay here, everything was super, the staff, room food and especially the views of the lake, we could not fault anything.

Rooms are well laid out and modern. Day staff are lovely but Darius from the night staff was abrupt and rude. It would suit him to be in a non-customer facing role. Walls are paper thin, could hear noises I did not want to hear from other rooms. A decent experience unfortunately let down by rude and inconsiderate people.

I had a fantastic stay. The food was excellent, the rooms were cozy, the spa was wonderfully relaxing, and the location couldn’t have been better. The entire team was outstanding, with a special shoutout to Morgan, who truly understands hospitality and made the experience feel exceptional. Would absolutely recommend this hotel for your next stay in the Lake District!
