What reviewers say

Many visitors praise the beautiful rooms with views and the excellent spa treatments, particularly mentioning staff like Dalius and Megan. However, several guests report significant issues with malfunctioning hot tubs and ongoing renovations impacting facilities. Some also find the food and service to be below expectations for a four-star hotel.

We chose this hotel because many hotels in central Windermere do not offer parking facility, and it was only a 5–6 minute drive from Bowness Bay. We had a wonderful stay and even extended it for an extra night. Despite not having a booking beforehand, the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable, and the view was absolutely stunning. Breakfast may seem limited at first, but cooked meals, including full English breakfast are available to order at no extra cost. We also enjoyed the spa facilities, although the indoor pool and spa area are quite small and could get busy during peak times. The only thing that could be improved is the variety of options on the dinner menu. Overall, great stay and we would happily return.

The team were so helpful with everything, nothing was too much effort for them. My partner and I have some awkward dietary requirements and they really helped us. Massive shout out to Katie, Adam and Carl.

We loved the stay, absolutely gorgeous views. Food was an absolute banger which is not usually the case with beautiful hotels. The room- extra clean and neat, loved the staff - quite friendly. We booked a room with a view which was 160 pounds per night, however we got a room on the left side half of which was covered with bushes and car park, but we knew the other rooms might have had a banger view. Breakfast was lovely, 15 quid pp and a lovely English breakfast with a beautiful view.
