Tim is a saint and an excellent host who went above and beyond. Lovely location, pods are peaceful, convenient and well looked after.
Stayed for a couple of nights campsite is quiet and very tidy. Pod was very comfortable and had all the basics you would need, very impressed with our private toilet and shower. Plenty of wildlife to listen to of an evening including owl's. Overall a very quiet comfortable stay
We stayed at Scallow Campsite for a night while attending a friend’s wedding in Eastbourne and were really impressed. The accommodation exceeded our expectations, especially the pod we stayed in which was finished to a really high standard and felt very cosy. It was great having our own private bathroom too even though it’s separate from the pod, it still felt like our own space to get ready comfortably. Overall, a fantastic stay and excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend!
Had a peaceful night here in my campervan and would definitely come again. Very friendly, helpful and flexible owners. The toilets and showers are spotless and very new. Cosy even in February. Simple site and exactly what I want for a short stay in the countryside.
Just back from a lovely 3 night Autumn camp. Superb facilities. We will be back.
We spent the weekend at Scallows Campsite in East Hoathly, Sussex, for a lovely family get-together. There are 5 hardstanding pitches with EHU at a very reasonable £23 per night, plus 3 glamping pods (£90 per night) if you fancy a touch of luxury. The facilities were brilliant – super clean and modern, with 2 shower rooms with wash hand basins, 2 toilets, and a dishwashing area with two big sinks. There are separate facilities for the glamping pods, so this is just for the 5 pitches. We did have a brief lack of hot water on the first morning, but a quick call to the site team and it was sorted in no time 👏 We set off on an 8.5-mile circular walk from the site, winding through fields, woodlands, past a church and even a few friendly alpacas (or llamas… honestly, who can tell? 😅) The Kings Head was just a mile away from camp, where we stoped for a delicious pub lunch – highly recommend! All in all, a gorgeous little site in the Sussex countryside. We’ll definitely be back… even if it’s just for those fab shower rooms 🚿✨
