We visited the hotel for the first time and it was absolutely worth it. We had a wonderful time! The staff was very attentive, and the place was impeccably clean and well-maintained. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back.

During a trip to Argentina and Uruguay around New Year's, we stayed at AWA Boutique + Design Hotel in Punta del Este, and it was exactly the kind of place we needed. Its position slightly outside the busiest part of downtown gave us welcome breathing room during peak season without making the city feel remote. The property was peaceful, thoughtfully designed, and surrounded by attractive grounds. Days there were easy. We enjoyed the food, spent time by the pool and in the garden, and appreciated the nearby walking path. From the hotel, we could still walk toward the city and La Mano, the famous sculpture emerging from the sand at Brava Beach. AWA also sat conveniently along the route to José Ignacio, making it an easy base for exploring. What stayed with me most was the value. Punta del Este around New Year's can be expensive and intense, yet AWA delivered comfort, calm, and a strong sense of place at a reasonable price. Its location between Brava and Mansa beaches made it practical, and the smaller scale gave it more personality than a conventional resort. We had a fantastic stay, and I would recommend it without hesitation.

The best part was undoubtedly the service from the reception staff and the restaurant staff in the evening. I especially want to highlight Leonel's kindness; he heard we wanted to watch the F1 race and came to our room to offer us the cinema room. The experience was fantastic, the reclining seats were very comfortable, and the screen was perfect. The heated pool was nice and warm, we enjoyed the sauna, and the breakfast was incredibly complete and varied. What I liked least was perhaps the unfriendly attitude of the blonde woman who served breakfast.
