McKee Park

McKee Park is a riverside park on the Detroit River in Windsor's far west end, near the Ambassador Bridge, with a boardwalk, boat launch, large parking lot and quieter wooded stretches. For years it has been informally known as a discreet gay cruising spot, most active on warm-weather afternoons and evenings. It is first and foremost a public family park; any cruising is unofficial and tolerated rather than sanctioned. Canada has strong legal protections for LGBTQ+ people, but public-decency laws still apply, so be discreet, respect other park users and keep to well-lit public areas.
