Absolute waste of my time and money. The people I communicated with sound like any misogynist. "There's nothing I can do", "we don't have enough resources", "it's not misogyny" (literally a piece by piece match of content from Kate Manne's book Misogyny), "the board said". Go to any corporate board run by all men and tell me what the difference between how NOW handled the situation and their behavior is. You will find none. ABSOLUTE waste of time and money. I wish I could ask for my money back. They spend it all on junk mail and fundraising harassment and then don't actually want to do any real work. Big NO to NOW. Just another lot of female misogynists pretending to be feminist. No, no and NO again. Feminism sounds NOTHING like the patriarchy. We have can-do, supportive, validating attitudes. Seattle NOW, that isn't you. At all. NO.
