Fantastic place to stay. Check in was friendly and efficient which is always a big tick. View from room is amazing. The area is very good.

Our stay 4 nights stay at Macleay hotel was fabulous. We checked in late at night and the hotel reception guy Mon was helpful. Checkin was super smooth. The housekeeping staff also did a phenomenal job. The bathrooms were super clean and looked like its newly renovated. All the cool cafes, eateries and metro convenience store is close by. King Cross metro station is at 10 mins walking distance.

Loved our recent stay here. It’s got all the necessary amenities that one would require. Parking spots easily available for $40 per day. (Very common in Sydney CBD). The view from the room was amazing. Clean room and spacious. The gentleman who checked us in (forgot to get his name) was extremely polite, friendly and welcoming. He even gave us some local recommendations. The only thing we felt could have made it 5 star for us was to have access to the air con control. They have auto air con system that runs throughout however we cannot self manage the temperature or the fan speed. Upon check in, it took about 30 minutes to an hour to feel the cool temperature in the room (Sydney can be very humid), the lovely gentleman at the reception brought us a good Dyson fan which made the stay more pleasurable. Would definitely stay here again. The bus stop to the main stations is literally opposite the hotel. Also train station is at a walking distance + uber costs between $20-30 to CBD depending upon time of the day.

We booked a studio and it has all the amenities to keep you comfortable. The room and the toilet were clean. And the location is very very good. There are many good cafes around the hotel to eat. And there is a Metro convenience store right opposite the hotel. There is also a bust stop right in front of the hotel that can take you to circular quay a d other major tourist attractions.

We had an issue and the supervisor and her staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was ok. The reception staff are some of the most amazing people - a business is only as good as its employees and if this is anything to go by this place is above and beyond amazing. Definitely would stay here again next time we’re in Sydney - loved the walked to the botanical gardens to the harbor. The cafe across the street was amazingly delicious too!

Location was fantastic, right opposite a coffee shop and Woolworths which was good for our long stay. Little kitchen was convenient. Bed was comfortable. Parking was easy & accessible, staff friendly.
