The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen

It claims itself as a five star hotel. I’ve been staying with Ritz-Carlton for many years and trust their service and standards. That’s why I chose Ritz-Carlton when visiting Shenzhen. I have to say, it did not match my expectations. The service is really bad, almost as if there is no service. The staff will give you awkward vibes and looks when you ask for help. The room is pretty small. And the interior is pretty torn down, sometimes smelling moldy. The location is great. Other than that, I barely find something else to appreciate for the price I paid.

We had an excellent stay and would highly recommend this hotel. After a long-haul flight and a recent move with our toddler, we were exhausted, but Aaron and his colleagues made us feel welcome and well cared for from the moment we arrived. They thoughtfully arranged the room we desired, provided extra amenities, gave our daughter a small toy she loved, and paid attention to many small details that made our stay especially comfortable. A special thank you to Aaron Fan and the entire team for their genuine hospitality and outstanding service. We look forward to staying here again.

Really had a great visit this time. The newly renovated rooms are beyond my expectations. I was upgraded to a beautiful suite with an outdoor space overlooking the pool. Staff couldn’t be more accommodating if they tried. Had a great experience and look forward to my next trip to China.

The Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center is also nearby, while several metro stations provide easy access to the rest of the city. One of the things I appreciated most was how convenient everything was. Whether shopping, dining, sightseeing, or attending business meetings, everything felt just minutes away. The hotel’s location makes it an ideal base for exploring Shenzhen. The rooms are beautifully designed, spacious, and exceptionally comfortable. The elegant décor combines classic luxury with modern amenities, creating a sophisticated and relaxing atmosphere. Large windows provide impressive views of the Futian skyline, especially in the evening when the city lights come alive. The facilities are outstanding. The fitness center is modern and well-equipped, the outdoor swimming pool provides a peaceful escape from the busy city, and the spa offers a truly relaxing experience. Every area of the hotel is maintained to the highest standards and reflects the quality associated with The Ritz-Carlton brand. Dining was another highlight of my stay. The hotel offers excellent restaurants, refined lounges, and outstanding service throughout every dining experience. The breakfast selection was extensive, fresh, and beautifully presented, making every morning enjoyable. What truly sets this hotel apart is the service. Every staff member was professional, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to creating a memorable experience. Their commitment to excellence was evident in every interaction. If you are looking for luxury, world-class hospitality, an excellent location, and the highest standards of service in Shenzhen, The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen is an outstanding choice.
