Orion Residency

Orion Residency is a mainstream mid-range hotel on Rama Pillai Street in Periamet, central Chennai. It is listed here as gay-friendly, but it is an ordinary city hotel with no gay angle of its own. Most guests are business travellers and families passing through, and it holds a solid 4.1 on Google from around 1,700 reviews. The main draw is location: Periamet sits close to Chennai Central and Egmore railway stations, which makes it practical for early trains or short stopovers. The surrounding streets are busy and commercial. Chennai has no real gay bar scene, so plan evenings around restaurants. Book through the hotel's website or call 044 4210 5234.
