Hotel Beth Shalom

A small, homely and wonderfully cozy hotel. As soon as you enter, you feel an atmosphere reminiscent of a hotel in a European town, with an Israeli connection. The design, the pictures, the furniture in the public areas, all of these and more give this feeling. The staff is charming. Everyone. From the welcoming receptionist, the understanding and willingness to help and be there for the guest, to the dining room staff. At the entrance to the hotel, there is a small lobby with coffee, tea, cakes and fruit - completely free for the guest. It really adds to the feeling of "I am at home". There is another, larger lobby, on the lower floor, and also a meeting room for groups. The location - in the center of the Carmel, next to the big hotels of Haifa. You crossed the road, and you are on the Louis Promenade, with a view of the entire bay, and a spectacular evening stroll. From the room window we could see the windows of the adjacent residential building, and also hear the voices. Which was less nice. It reminded too much of the noise of the neighbors at home. The hotel itself is definitely quiet. The rooms are small and it's worth knowing this in advance. There's really no room for more than two beds (two guests) in the room. There are plenty of closets. There's also a TV, Wi-Fi and air conditioning of course, but there's no fridge or coffee corner. The bathroom has a shower, and is equipped with everything you need. Very clean. The breakfast is good. Maybe not as plentiful as the Eilat resort hotels, but it's varied and has everything, and an open buffet. Hungry, you don't leave it. Even on Shabbat, the meal is like any other day. That is, the food is fresh and omelets and dishes prepared shortly before the meal are served. Late check-out is also part of the hotel's weekend hospitality. For us, it allowed us to stroll around on Shabbat, return to the hotel, and rest a bit before heading home. And the cost, surprisingly. We stayed in two rooms, and the cost was less than one room in the hotels directly across the street. The bottom line, and as I mentioned in the warm farewell, we found our "Haifa home."
I really liked this hotel. Nice staff, clean rooms, great location, nice breakfast. I highly recommend. I really liked this hotel. Nice staff, clean rooms, great location, nice breakfast. I highly recommend.
I stayed 3 nights at the hotel, we are dealing with a boutique hotel (30 rooms) of high quality, quiet, the rooms are well equipped, good breakfast, hotel guests also enjoy coffee and cake in the hotel lobby throughout the day. The hotel's location is perfect, within walking distance of the vibrant and colorful center of Carmel. If you thought in light of the above that the price was expensive, then the price is really reasonable, so the value for money is quite worthwhile.
Very friendly staff, great atmosphere, clean rooms, very comfortable beds!
