This establishment was advertised as a regular/business hotel but is in fact a love hotel in disguise. In addition to the equipment available in the room, there is adult content on the TV’s home page, there is no doubt about what kind of hotel this is … The establishment itself do offer “short” stay of up to 3 hours to “rest”. Now it’s up to you to judge if it’s family/children friendly. The fridge in the room was not working, it’s a minibar apparently linked to a computer who adds to your bill an amount equal to the items you take, it was emptied for my stay so the whole fridge was unusable. There was another smaller one but it didn’t work either, thankfully they had ice available in the lobby to get fresh water. Be aware that the hotel is not equipped to accommodate people who are planning to stay more than a day, neither for foreigners nor tourists. The language barrier hits very hard, even for some basic requests through a translator, you can feel that the staff-although very nice- is not trained nor qualified to do anything beside check-in and check-out. Cleaning is not quite thorough , beside changing the sheets and replacing the amenities, expect to find remaining of previous customers - which matches the love hotel functioning : replace the sheets and put amenities for the next users- If you have any luggage forget about forwarding it via the hotel to your next destination, if you attempt to go through the hotel, they will call the courrier and ask you to wait in your room for them to come (between 8am and 1pm) , once you lock up your day waiting, the courrier will come and they might not take your luggage, for my case -the language barrier might not have helped- I ended up having to chose between paying a ¥20.000 taxi ride or travel by metro the next day with two suitcases because the courrier was not able to take the luggage one day before check out … I have been using the forwarding system from Hokkaido to Kansai, Kanto to Shikoku , Chubu and Kanto with different hotels and airports, sent a day before, two days before and never had any problems whatsoever, this is the first time I am met with a refusal with this excuse. Love hotels are not used to forward luggage so be aware if you come here with suitcases. The location is not bad as there is a metro station 2 minutes away by foot but that’s it, except a -mediocre- Donki nearby there is not much to do in the area and you will be spending 20 minutes a day going to interesting spots. The staff is friendly , the rooms are spacious and that’s pretty much it, for the price it’s totally not worth it and if it were not for being mislead by the advertising for this establishment I would have gone to a real business hotel with a more competent staff even if meant smaller rooms and less amenities. Spending my last days in Yokohama sweating and carrying two suitcases was not in my checklist and had I known where I was going to I would have chosen another place.
I stayed here with my girlfriend on vacation. The location and service were excellent! There were free drinks and snacks, and two bottles of mineral water in the room's refrigerator. Nearby are Harbor View Park and Motomachi Shopping Street, so you can enjoy a sightseeing atmosphere. The footbath on the rooftop also offered great views, allowing us to fully appreciate Yokohama. The room is a love hotel, but there are two single beds, so it might be a little cramped for a couple. The bathtub is old-fashioned, but even taking that into account, it's a hotel worth staying at. The staff were all very kind. The hotel has a parking lot, but it doesn't seem to be intended for hotel guests, so we parked in the coin parking lot across the street.
The receptionist was very kind, and they also offered planetarium rental for the room, in-room karaoke, a wide variety of snacks, and free drinks, so there were so many great little touches that it was fantastic. The foot bath on the rooftop is free, and the night view is beautiful. Room service was also surprisingly cheap! The nearby parking lot is also reasonably priced for the area. I'd definitely like to use this hotel again. Thank you very much.
Looking at the exterior, I wondered if it was a bad hotel, but when I went inside, I thought it was a love hotel... But the front desk staff were very friendly! The room was spacious and stylish! The bathtub was large and had bath salts! The foot bath on the rooftop was great! There were plenty of free amenities! I'd definitely like to use it again.
I used the birthday plan, and the staff were very polite and attentive, making it a wonderful surprise. The cake was also quite large, so it was more than two people could finish. The location is close to the station, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, so it's not a problem. The view from the rooftop was also wonderful. This hotel was well worth the price and I would definitely stay here again.
