The Bathhouse

Had such a lovely late breakfast here with my partner today at the Bathhouse. We were served by Raquel, who is an absolute gem. Super friendly, attentive, and genuinely great to talk to. I was pleasantly surprised to hear alternative music playing that I actually listen to as well, which made the experience even better ("Angels" by The xx was playing). All of this while taking in the breathtaking view over the bay. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a peaceful spot to eat, drink, and unwind 🙂

Food is okay, very expensive. $30+ for a bacon and egg roll. Coffee overpriced and average. View is everything

Went for a drink and stayed for the amazing sunset view and peaceful environment. This place made me want to move to Queenstown! The wine and beer were really good and the waitress was the sweetest

Lovely food all situated around classic English meals. Ordered the Chips with curry sauce and the Ploughman's lunch. Both were delicious but the the ploughman's was a bit skimpy on the cheese. As a drink I ordered a Chai Latte and it was the best I've ever had. Would recommend

Love this place! My wife and I have just arrived in Queenstown, went for a stroll along the waterfront and stumbled upon this gem. We were greeted by a lovely Irish girl who quickly got us seated, we enjoyed coffee’s and after seeing other people’s food come out we ordered too! Soon after a bacon butty and coronation chicken sandwich were delivered. Everything was just perfect, the service, the food and the location. We’re going to come back tomorrow for lunch!

Terrible. Bad service cold coffee boiling overcooked food. British chippy food at rip off prices.

Love Queenstown, service with all the other retail places has been good. The Bathhouse is the complete opposite. Rude staff, tell you to sit down it’s table service. My family and I sat down and no one approached us, so after more than 10 minutes waiting i went in and told them their service is crap. She didn’t like hearing that and tried to turn it back on me. If you don’t like your job do something else. I agree with all the other 1 star reviews that mention how poor the service is. The manager needs to reconsider his/her staff. Queenstown does a wonderful job of welcoming visitors but not this place, avoid it people. Plenty of other food and drink outlets. You need to do better The Bathhouse!!!!

Great pit stop on a walk of Queenstown Gardens. Amazing views of the lake and mountains. Good coffee and yummy cake (pictured Flat White with carrot cake).

Enjoy a coffee by Lake Wakatipu, gazing at the stunning views of the lake and mountains, and soak up the relaxed atmosphere of Queenstown. While the sun is out outdoors, it can get windy and cold; if you're sensitive to the cold, you can sit indoors. There are restrooms indoors as well. The staff are very friendly.

Nice spot for a drink, right on the water. Really enjoyed the botanical spritz.

Lovely place and staff, complimentary drinks and ice cream, private bath tubs, beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. 100% recommended
