Great hotel with great amenities

Beautiful hotel with very friendly and attentive staff. Located a walk from Paphos centre along a lovely beach road. Opposite the sea. Pools, loungers, bars, restaurants. Plenty of space. Lots of places to sit and relax. Can't fault anything. Rooms spotless, great showers. Buffet food amazing. Plenty of water sports centres a short walk away. And located out front of the hotel there are multiple hire businesses - cars, jeeps, buggies. Everything is convenient. Even the airport is only 20 mins drive away.

Just a short stay of 5 days but really enjoyed it. Young couple in our 30’s didn’t know what to expect but really great hotel. Nice and clean, good food and drinks. Staff and service exceptional. Everyone is really friendly. Big shout out to Musa, Ada and Abiel who made our stay extra enjoyable. Joining in with the activities is a must! 😁

Rooms with awesome views are just one of the great attractions of this hotel. This is an adult’s only hotel that offers various options on rooms and board, starting* at B&B up to Elite level that covers all of your needs. This beach facing hotel has excellent staff and I mean excellent staff throughout the entire areas from beach front bars servers , pool attendants, waiters, waitresses, dining room supervisors , cleaners, front of house, animation team all ensuring a great holiday experience - food is buffet style ( good options) and A La Carte restaurant like Aphrodite and Olive Tree.

Just returned from a fabulous 10 day stay at the Athena Royal Hotel. The staff and service were excellent with everyone so friendly and accommodating. A couple of shout outs to Florin ( dining area manager) and Manisha (roof top bar waitress) who were both exceptional. We did half board and all the food was really good with an amazing choice. We had the opportunity to try the à la carte which was amazing. The roof top bar was one of our favourite spots to have a drink before dinner, watching the sun set. The pool area was one of the best in the area we felt after checking out other hotels, as the gardens where most of the sunbeds are located was extensive, so you had plenty of space and weren’t shoulder to shoulder with other guests. The pool isn’t heated so was a little fresh but it was only the start of May. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you want a relaxing adults only trip

Early days but well pleased

Our stay was overall great - the food was surprisingly good and there was a nice calm atmosphere. All the staff were very attentive, helpful and kind and the facilities were always clean. The location is ideal - a relaxing 20 minute walk along the coast into the town and surrounded by plentiful food spots. We enjoyed the amenities such as the fully equipped gym, indoor heated pool, table tennis, pool, and darts. Our only complaints would be that there was no air conditioning in the rooms due to it being April (and not quite hot enough for those that aren’t used to cold British weather) and that the pool was shallow due to a lack of lifeguards. Other than that though, it was a lovely experience.

Lovely location, nice and clean hotel and the staff make it special as they are so friendly and helpful. Our cleaning lady was so nice and smiley. Walk to the centre was lovely too. Food at the buffet was delicious and staff were really accommodating and friendly. Option to sit outside on the balcony which was wonderful. Lots of day and evening activities if you wanted to get involved. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
