Traxx Cruising Club Bordeaux

A place with enormous potential, but it's been deteriorating for years. It's hot and humid, not very clean, but the main problem is that it's a place by and for very conventional cisgender gay men: nothing is done to attract a younger, more inclusive clientele (and posting the venue's schedule only on Facebook isn't going to change anything). As a result, you go several times and always run into the same ten regulars who seem to be part of the dusty furniture. The behavior of the men there is typical of their age and gender; you see many guys on drugs where consent isn't really a priority, and what could be a place of sexual freedom, sex positivity, and exploration is just another backroom lacking passion and flair. As for the music, it's just like everything else: 45-minute playlists of generic gay dance music playing on repeat for hours without anyone bothering to change it. It's such a shame that a major city like Bordeaux has so few community-based establishments, and that apart from one, they're all so problematic.

I'm a senior citizen. I went there in the winter of 2026. The receptionist at the entrance was awful. He didn't even greet me, no warm welcome whatsoever. I seemed to be a "stranger" who was bothering him. This young man doesn't seem to like older men. Perhaps it's not his "business." Like so many young gay men, this guy doesn't think he'll ever get old. At Traxx, these days, the service is "on the spot." I won't be going back.

It was pretty good for my first time, even though someone had followed me around like a fool, but it didn't bother me too much, the atmosphere was pleasant and exciting, a little reminder YES it's only for adults, I quickly understood the vibe 😂

A very pleasant and clean place 👍 Always a warm welcome from a friendly team!!! I often come on Tuesdays and sometimes Wednesdays for the naturist afternoon. It's very nice, not crowded, but there's always something to enjoy 😜 A great time on Tuesday with a guy. If you recognize yourself, let me know. The man with the FREE tattoo 😜
