Mold on the walls, leak in the shower, sewer smells coming up through the shower drain and you can hear people next door talking as if they were in the room.

We rented a room last week and were not satisfied with our stay. The balcony room didn't have a key, there was an unbearable sewage smell, and the noise of the safe kept us awake all night. My message to the owner went unanswered.

The rooms match the photos and the prices are affordable. However, the soundproofing is poor, and you can hear absolutely everything, all the time. You have to pay for luggage storage and other basic services that hotels usually offer for free. No elevator (something to keep in mind).

I can only echo the other reviews. We came for a weekend in Marseille. Our room was supposed to be ready by 4 pm. Imagine our surprise when we discovered someone in our room! The cleaning lady hadn't come, and the previous guest hadn't yet left. The hotel had "no solution," so we found ourselves in a new city with nowhere to sleep. Getting the cleaning lady back was impossible, so we received a refund. We were forced to book another hotel, which incurred additional expenses. Judging by the other comments, I think it's probably for the best that we didn't stay there. Avoid at all costs.

An extremely disappointing stay at this establishment. My night was completely ruined by serious and repeated disturbances within the hotel, with a constant stream of male guests and women who were clearly working in a brothel or short-stay hotel, exhibiting behavior clearly inappropriate for a hotel. The noise level and overall situation were such that it was impossible to sleep, creating a frankly unsafe atmosphere. The advertisement is misleading: the "luxury room" is nothing like the reality. The accommodation also suffered from dampness and mold. The surrounding environment further reinforces this feeling of insecurity. The most problematic aspect is the management: no concrete solutions, no gesture of goodwill, and a categorical refusal to acknowledge the real impact on guests. As a result, I paid for a second night that I couldn't use, and I also had to book and pay for another hotel to be able to sleep in normal conditions. This was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. We left deeply affected. Avoid if you're looking for peace, security, and professionalism.

A scam! I booked a room at this supposed hotel. On the day of arrival, they sent me an email explaining that they had changed my room number, even though they had changed establishments. They didn't notify me beforehand, and I ended up in a BMC (Beware!).

Near the train station. The rooms are nice, however, I didn't really enjoy my stay, although the bathroom was superb. Comfortable bed. Indeed, the price is low, which is good. However, the doors slam, and I couldn't figure out the key box. No one was on site, which was very inconvenient.

So, where to begin… I booked this hotel room for one night because it's located near Marseille Saint-Charles train station. The host is responsive and accommodating, and their instructions are clear. Unfortunately, that's not all! Upon entering the hotel, I didn't find the room numbers on the ground floor wall very clear, but never mind. Going up the stairs, there was a bad smell, and upon arriving in the room, that's where the surprises began. As you can see in the photos, there was dust on the light switch, hair under the pillow and blanket, stains on the pillowcase, large stains on the blanket and blackout curtains, boogers stuck to the wall under the headboard, I found a long hair hiding in the bath towel when I unfolded it, another one on the bathroom floor, and the tile grout was truly disgusting. As some reviews mention, I also experienced unpleasant smells coming from the drains. Luckily, I booked a triple room, which meant I had to sleep in the least dirty bed—a single bed instead of the double bed that was in the room. This was my first and last time at this establishment, which I obviously do not recommend at all. At €49 a night, it seems cleaning is an optional extra before guests arrive.

The room is well-located and well-maintained, but poorly soundproofed; you can hear the neighbors in the hallway as well as in their rooms. Foul odors emanate from the room, which I tried to eliminate with a plastic bag that inflated the moment I tried to place it over the shower drain... I was told it was coming from the sewers and that they couldn't do anything about it, neither offering a replacement room nor a refund for the second night booked for the following evening. It's a RIP-OFF! And of course, it's impossible to contact management, who hide behind very friendly but powerless staff!

Not very clean… the cutlery hadn't been washed before our arrival, and there was dish soap left in the bottom… Visible marks on the walls, in short, needs improvement…

Smells like sewer, bed bugs. No refund. Dark stains in the bathroom, it looked like a ghost hotel. The photos and reviews on Booking.com are all fake.
