Welcome back. Comfortable room, and clean. Hearty and varied breakfast. Suggestions for improvement: make available infusion bags in the rooms and olus of seasonal fruits at breakfast.

I recently stayed at this lovely hotel in Paris for three nights, and I couldn’t have been more pleased. The **location is brilliant**—tucked away off the main road, making it both **quiet and safe**, which I especially appreciated as a female traveler. The area felt secure, and it was just a **short walk to the metro**, making it an excellent base for exploring **Montmartre** and beyond. The room was **immaculate** and although compact, it was well-designed and had everything I needed. The **bathroom was gorgeous**, and all the amenities were provided, including fresh **clean linen** and excellent **air conditioning**, which made my stay very comfortable. The **reception staff**, both day and night, were incredibly **friendly and welcoming**—they made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. All in all, this was a fantastic stay, and I would definitely **stay here again** on my next visit to Paris! Highly recommended!

Very disappointing stay at this 4 star hotel. The room we had for a few hours was dirty as soon as we returned: shower full of hair, blackened joints, stained furniture. I ask to change rooms, I am told that it is complete. The next morning, the housekeeper (very kind in passing) told us that there were still rooms available. Confronted, the receptionist explains that they prefer to keep the rooms “in case” someone comes by at night... Even if a customer already in place reports a real problem. And according to him, it was almost up to me to take stock when I arrived. Seriously? To flee for anyone who expects a minimum of respect and cleanliness. A big thank you to the housekeeper, the only competent and honest person we met at the establishment.

We stayed at this hotel with a group of 8 people for 2 nights. Our stay was unfortunately rather disappointing. Upon arrival at the hotel we were received particularly cold at the desk - without a single word of explanation we just got the cards to our room. At the very least, when welcoming you to a 4* hotel, you might expect to be told where your room is located, how to get there, and where and when breakfast is served. At change of staff we did see a very friendly receptionist in the evening. I still see negative comments about the staff, a pity that some bad apples bring down the overall impression. The rooms are small. We ourselves have only been in our room for overnight, so all in all ok, but the bed itself is also on the small side and you have very little walking space around the bed. This should be better communicated on the website. We were there with our parents (70+) for which such a small bed was also not immediately ideal and which has caused a bad night's sleep for many. The room was otherwise all in all clean, not piccobello but ok. The shower was fine and extra provision of coffee and water in the room is convenient. The climate control did not work in any of our 4 rooms (the rooms already felt quite warm despite winter period, so fortunately we did not stay here in spring or summer period). Location is good, close to metro station and quieter street where we had no night nuisance (street to metro was very active in the evening with many bars). The breakfast was really miserable. Day 1: we were in the breakfast room with a total of 10p and on the hot plate there were 3 sauces and there was 1 small jar of dry scrambled eggs in the large container that seemed to have been heating for a few hours. Nobody dared to take the potty, because then there was nothing for the others, on the other hand it didn't look tasty either, so nobody was interested in it anyway. Day 2: no more sauces, but back 1 small jar of scrambled eggs that now looked even drier, as if the same jar was standing there again. There is no bread on offer, only mini baguettes (so mini that they are dry and you cannot cut them yourself to put toppings on) and toast bread from a bag. Cheese is limited to an emulsion of gouda and emmental in plastic packaging (looked very distasteful). Some slices of charcuterie available as well as jars of jam and chocolate. Also a few jars of yogurt and besides that also cereal and granola. You can make freshly squeezed fruit juice yourself - no problem with that in itself (but it's also just a mess where your hands get dirty and stick). In Paris it doesn't seem that difficult to offer a nice offer of bread etc. Slices of cheese also seems like a minimum that should be available at breakfast (OR give a selection of French cheeses). The men in our group really left the table hungry. Breakfast is therefore absolutely avoidable - better to find a good bakery in Paris and have your breakfast there!

Too bad for this charming hotel, tastefully decorated but not up to a 4 star rating! After sending an email on 14/10 at 19:33 to the director to express my dissatisfaction when I first came, no reply! Refrigerator still out of order, blocking taps still not repaired (blocked at a certain temperature) .....the first morning, I could not take a shower (too hot), leakage from the kettle, phone from the room for 3 days unusable (a person from the reception decided to check and so see that batteries were needed) but the most disturbing thing is the systematic shutdown of the HEATING where I had to call several times during my stay to restart it ........(yes, it is at the reception level to do so). On the other hand, apart from the gentleman of the days of the week (obviously, I bored him) a lot of kindness from the staff.....Thanks to them!

From the minute of arriving it was a great experience. The staff are so welcoming and go out of their way to help you. The cleanliness is to a high standard. Yes our room wasn't ready but we were made feel welcome to have a coffee or tea while waiting. The staff are very friendly and always made sure we were okay during our stay. They cleaners had the room cleaned daily and rubbish took out and fresh towels everyday. It's very quiet where you could get a good night sleep. And a nice sized breakfast for the next morning. It's just a bit of a walk to the main tourist attractions hut we loved it. You get to explore more while walking.

During our stay at the hotel Le Katorze, we had an extremely unpleasant experience, starting with the staff who made our check-in. From the beginning, he showed a lack of cordiality and did not provide the minimum information about the hotel facilities and services, which left us quite uncomfortable. The problem got worse when my wife fell into the bathroom box. The floor was extremely slippery and there was no type of protection, such as an anti-slip rug, something essential to ensure guests' safety. To make it worse, the hotel did not have a first aid kit or even ice, which is unacceptable in situations like this. The lack of adequate safety measures and the inability to deal with emergencies demonstrates a serious negligence with the welfare of customers. This situation caused us great frustration and concern, leaving a very negative Impression on the hotel.
