Hôtel Le Montaigu

Great stay at the Montaigu. Only downside: the doors slammed a lot, even at night, which woke us up several times. Great view from the window and very good breakfast. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. A special mention for the bathroom, which was very nice! In short, we highly recommend it! ⭐

The hotel lives up to its website description. Excellent value for money, the location was perfect for us (we were going skiing in Gavarnie during the day), easy to access, and above all, the staff are incredibly helpful and lovely! A very pleasant experience. We also had dinner there on New Year's Eve as a family (17 of us!), and everyone had a fantastic evening. Don't hesitate!

Beautiful location with mountain views. The room is clean but feels dated... Designed for 3 people, there was only one cup and one towel... A bit stingy... Breakfast is average with limited choices. The 3-star rating is unjustified.

The hotel is a bit old, but in very good condition, and the owners provide excellent service to everyone. It has two elevators and parking at the back of the hotel. Beautiful views of the surrounding area. I felt the breakfast options were a bit limited. There's a bar open in the evenings where you can enjoy a beer in the lobby or outside with a view of the mountains.
