Bananas Guesthouse

Reservation cancelled. If you are a solo traveller you get cancelled if they get a requst from a couple. The excuse given was that the business had become bankrupt but they were still accepting bookings.They do this all the time. Solo travellers avoid!

Cancelled BOTH my reservations for January and May, no reasons given. VERY poor customer service. Be wary before you book, in case you get let down. Disgraceful way to treat a potential returning customer.

I made a reservation with 15 days in advance. Two days before my arrival they cancelled my reservation because technical reasons. They don’t offer me an alternative. With mostly of the good options fully booked for the weekend I had no option to find a good budget accommodation. Worst experience.

Spotlesly clean, comfortable bed, warm welcome, helpful host, the location is excellent, close to transport and lovely leafy Schöneberg. Will certainly book again. Fast WiFi, good coffee and nice public space.

Clean, professional, empathetic and kind. Comfortable beds, delicious coffee and ideal location. Approximately 20 min walk from zoo station but close to metro in a safe neighborhood full of coffee shops, pubs and restaurants in the heart of the village. I will be definitely be staying here again. They have multiple washrooms to ensure there are no wait times for shared washrooms and everything is cleaned daily. It has been a pleasure, you've made my first trip to Berlin a treat and I will see you again soon.

The guesthouse is situated near the main gay nightlife in Berlin which is helpful if you want to go out. The room was modern and there are plenty of bathrooms available (I never seen another guest when going to shower). I was very impressed with how clean the hostel was.

Bananas Gay guest house is a MEN only guest house. You are normally greeted by Gregor ( within working hours ) who explains everything you need to know about staying here. The guest house is spotlessly clean. Guests have use of the kitchen and terrace . If you are concerned about using shared bathroom facilities don't be . They are super clean and a generous size. The location is excellent , UBahn( train) i minute walk . Bars / eateries all within a few minutes walk . Tip for guests - As Bananas is a guest house and not a hotel therefore has no front desk keep Gregor informed about any updates on your arrival time .

This place was very comfortable and obviously kept very clean. The guy running the place (sorry I forget his name) is also very friendly. The place is not badly priced and is convenient for local amenities including shops, eating and bars/clubs. This was my favourite place I've stayed so far in Berlin so will be back.

I went there for two nights. The place is very clean, organized, and friendly! The area is very good, and everything in the room was very good. Free wifi and the owner is very friendly, and will help you with everything!
