B&B HOTEL Dortmund-City

The hotel is close to the main train station and easily accessible. The rooms are functionally furnished. The bathroom is okay.

Beautiful hotel with polite staff, well-maintained, and in a prime city location...perfect for those arriving by train, but difficult for those arriving by car (hardly any parking at the hotel, only expensive public parking).

Very great place to stay

We've stayed at a B&B Hotel several times before. As always, the service was good, and the rooms were clean. Highly recommended!

One of the better B&B hotels.

It's a budget Hotel so I wasn't expecting perfect rooms, but the rooms were very clean and comfortable for our 1 night stay! I think in the long run, it would have become a bit lacking as there was no trash can in the room (only a small one in the bathroom) but overall a pretty good place with friendly staff! Its also within walking distance of the train station. They should really get more trash cans though, cant be that hard...

A few days ago, I stayed at the B&B Hotel Dortmund-City. I'm usually a loyal B&B Hotel customer. The room initially seemed clean, but before going to bed, I discovered a stray woman's hair in the bed that definitely wasn't mine. For some, it might seem like a minor issue, but after that, I simply couldn't sleep peacefully there. So, I politely went to reception and asked for a different room. Unfortunately, I wasn't taken seriously and was told not to make such a fuss over a hair. I found that disappointing, as hygiene and comfort were my primary concerns. My recommendation would be to provide better training for the staff in handling criticism and interacting with guests. A little more understanding and professionalism would have made the situation much more pleasant.

Overall, the hotel is okay. It has everything you need, but there are many shortcomings that I think bother more than just me. The breakfast, for example, is lacking in several areas; there's neither organization nor any real taste. Hygiene in the hotel is really poor; the bathroom was filthy, and the table in the room was dirty too. The staff also seemed unenthusiastic about their jobs; they all appeared annoyed and angry. The hotel's location is very central, offering plenty of dining options and easy access to transportation.

The hotel itself is very nice. But the staff are truly awful. When I wanted to extend my stay by one day, I was treated dismissively, as if I were bothering the manager. On the day of my departure, the cleaning lady came into my room three times to check if I had left. On the fourth visit, she knocked. I was there for business and wanted to sleep in. At 9 a.m., I was then "shooed away"... Check-out is supposed to be at noon.
