Hotel Restaurant Biedermeier

We were just there for a nightcap. The drinks arrived quickly and left nothing to be desired.

We specifically booked the 'Comfort' (!) room because of the heat ('+', air conditioning extra). The only problem was that the smells from the (!) kitchen extractor fan wafted into the room. The room was enormous, the beds were practically lost in the space, and the furnishings looked like something from a discount store. Breakfast consisted of the most pathetic, cardboard-like rolls from who-knows-where, cheese and sausage served on old wooden boards, and the cappuccino was like something you'd get at a gas station, if you even bothered to drink it at all. This is clearly a TERM (F) and you should absolutely AVOID this area!

I spent six relaxing days at the Hotel Biedermeier, surrounded by nature, and can wholeheartedly recommend it. Positive: The location right next to Hohensyburg Castle is simply wonderful and invites you to take long walks – for nature lovers, the area is a real highlight and definitely worth exploring. The transport links are also good, and the free parking directly at the hotel is a big plus. My room was clean, and the rain shower combined with some music was incredibly relaxing after a long day. I would also like to commend the staff: I have absolutely no complaints; the team was consistently friendly. Constructive criticism: The hotel is showing its age in some areas. My room required some minor maintenance: the shower head was calcified, the fan cover was missing, and the rubber seal of the shower cubicle was partially coming loose. Furthermore, the TV placement was somewhat inconvenient; a larger TV or a position directly at the foot of the bed would have been much more comfortable and relaxing. Even though the location is generally quiet, at times guests arriving or departing could be heard through the sound of doors or vehicles moving on the ground. Conclusion: A solid choice for anyone looking for a quiet environment in Dortmund. Those who can overlook the minor shortcomings will find a well-located hotel for a relaxing stay. I'll save this hotel as a favorite in Dortmund and would gladly return. Tips: A visit to the nearby Roadstop is absolutely worthwhile. Exploring the surrounding area on your own is also highly recommended – a leisurely stroll through nature is highly recommended. While the hotel restaurant is on the pricier side, the food is definitely worth trying.

We visited the Biedermeier restaurant in Hohensyburg and had a truly wonderful experience. The atmosphere is very pleasant and cozy, the service was attentive and friendly, and the food completely won us over. Everything seemed fresh, lovingly prepared, and perfectly balanced in flavor. You simply feel at ease there. For us, it's definitely a 10/10 experience – we'll definitely be back!

This hotel restaurant is a must-visit when heading towards the casino. The beautiful terrace alone is inviting. 🙏 With its stylish decor and well-maintained rooms, it's comfortable even for larger groups. The service is top-notch! ❤️‍🔥 Everyone is incredibly friendly, attentive, and cheerful. The food is superb! Sea bass for under €24 in a lovely restaurant – excellent value for money. The tender rack of lamb was also beautifully presented and delicious. The service leaves nothing to be desired. You can't help but feel completely at ease. If you haven't been there yet, you absolutely must visit this restaurant! ✔️✊️✊️✊️

A wonderful evening in a great atmosphere. Excellent, professional service, incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was very good, with an interesting menu. The terrace was also lovely for a balmy summer evening.

Beautiful hotel, good restaurant, quiet rooms

The two of us stayed there for just one night with our e-bikes. We were delighted with the friendly service upon arrival, the spacious room, and the selection of food at both dinner and breakfast. Everything we needed was perfect, and all the staff were fantastic! If you don't mind the uphill climb, you'll be rewarded! We'd love to come back. Thank you!!!
