A place with an incredibly heavy atmosphere! It should be visited with extreme respect. Do some research beforehand and look up the history of the camp so you can better understand the information provided on site. Above all, during your visit, remember that this is a memorial aimed at ensuring that such atrocities never happen again, and not a tourist attraction like any other.

An impressive location where you can view many things. Much attention is paid to keeping everything tidy and telling the correct story. You can spend several hours walking around the camp and seeing various items. Admission is free, as is the case at many German camps. Parking near the camp (a 5-minute walk) costs 3 euros. The two barracks have been completely restored and provide many insights into what it looked like in the past. Very impressive! It is certainly important and worthwhile to pay a visit here.

It's a sad place, but seeing it reminds me what we can't let happen again

The site is enormous. For €5 you can get an audio guide in your language and explore it at your own pace. For people with disabilities, they provide electric wheelchairs or mobility scooters. This is much appreciated because the site is very large and there's a lot to see. I was deeply moved; it's hard to think of all the people who have died and all the suffering those walls have witnessed. It's chilling.
