The 2 stars for the lady on the tour or I don't know what it is exactly.. I brought 2 VIP clients from America.. not next door.. from America…. And she didn't respect that or the way she spoke to me in front of my customers, instead of being happy that she would get 60€ for the wine tasting and that I actually brought people to them, she spoke to me abruptly and rudely and disrespectfully in front of my customer. The lady is unprofessional and needs attention. You are right about the reservation requirement, I understand that, but when I called, they didn't tell me anything about a reservation. I came during a very quiet period when they didn't have a single person inside and at a time when it wasn't peak or high season in the village (she could have served, she wasn't burning herself, she was alone). Teach the lady manners and teach her to respect. When a driver brings a customer, speak better in front of the customer. Respect is not a tasting for free and don't even think about making excuses, apologize at least...

The visit to the cellars of the amazing winery closed our spring trip to Metsovo in the best way.

A gem and one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. AND we've been traveling extensively for many years, from the South Pacific to the Bahamas 🤓 Such a fantastic hotel, relatively close by, simply magnificent. We did the wine tasting with Eleni (Helen), and she even incorporated my special request (Ximomavro). It's a good thing we arrived early, as the wine tastings run until 3 pm. There are a multitude of restaurants in town. Google initially only showed me one, but there are many. 😁 A heartfelt THANK YOU for the wonderful time with such friendly people. We will definitely be back!

Very nice facilities, worth a visit for anyone who finds themselves in Metsovo

Uh...Okay...But at a winery, why don't they treat you to a shot??? Of course you could taste wines...At a cost of 45€ per person!!! Mercy!!!

Fantastic experience!!! This place is in a great location very close to the center of the village. The rooms are amazing, great traditional style and very spacious. Best breakfast ever full of local products. Staff really friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended it!

The wine tasting experience was awesome, very kind tour guide who gave you that little extra in relation to the wines you would try. Very friendly atmosphere throughout without being rushed. If you wanted you could keep the glass if you hadn't finished it, and she would pour you the next one when you were ready. It's something I was afraid of because of the reviews I had read, but it didn't apply to our group at least. The rooms were also very nicely decorated. Not only the cell, but also the room where you did the tastings

We went with the intention of going up to Phlegga (Dragon Lake) So we just wanted a clean room and a hot bath. It was decent for the amount we paid. But I will focus on the tour we paid for which I think, for the incredible cellar they have, it is short in duration. The tour in terms of politeness and the information they conveyed to us was satisfactory. I think they should ask for help from a marketing company to make the journey better (maybe they should put the cheese factory in the game in combination as well as the art gallery and the Tositsa mansion)

I visited the winery which was very nice. We did a tasting and the girls who were there were very helpful and told us during the tour and everyone told us the story about Averoff and the winery. In the shop inside before the tour or after the tour I suggest if you are going to buy something to buy it after you do the tour and then to have an idea of ​​the wine you will buy and what is close to your tastes. At least that's how I did it because before the tour I wanted to buy everything hahaha.. simply because they are all dry wines only the rosé comes which is lighter and not so dry wine so I think you should make an appointment to try it first before buying. Definitely choose if you want the fiery one that you can't find easily, only in selected wineries and some restaurants and then only at the winery.. the prices are very fair, I will definitely visit again when I go again and to buy some wine again.
