Villa Elisio Hotel & Spa

The best part of the stay was the lovely lady receptionist, she took effort to go out of the way. Very pleasant .. explained well, organised a cab at my request, even helped me with a personal requirement where my coat got messed up. While the hotel states spa, it is a steam/ sauna available at a additional cost. Hotel rooms were okay, over looking residential neighbourhoods, coming out to the mainroad, were crowded and a bit chaotic and run down, which is why i felt it wasnt good, though the city centre was a quick 15 min walk, and ammenities around are fine. Beds were okay, mattresses still a bit soft. May work for others. Bathroom ammenities were nice, and thoughtful. The only hotel I have exp with hygiene wash. I would recommend a handle bar in the bathtub, to provide support and avoid any mishaps. A fresh coat of paint would be great in the bathrooms as some mould has set in. Breakfast was poor, not organsied, while the service person was nice. For transit, the hotel was fine, long stay.. perhaps no.. I was reluctant to leave the windows/ shades open as surrounding neighbours were very visible to me, which means i would be to them, perhaps just the side of my room. and being a bit claustrophobic, that wasnt helping

I almost never make mistakes with my bookings because I check Booking.com and Google before booking, and I also read customer reviews. But this hotel feels old, smells bad, and is dusty. The mattresses need replacing, and the walls feel dirty. The bathroom looks "okay," but it feels like the whole place is dirty. They really could improve their cleaning and replace the mattresses without spending so much. I recommend other options that are a bit more expensive but don't have to put up with the feeling of staying in a dirty place. Friendly staff

Beautiful structure and helpful and kind staff

Friendly staff, but... I booked a suite to have all the comforts. I stayed for 2 days without heating. The relaxation area with sauna and cold tub had a portable heater, but the socket didn't work. The hot tub display got damp and prevented it from working. The relaxation area floor was dirty. A bathrobe and slippers were included. But the latter weren't available, or rather, out of 4 guests, they only gave me a pair the next day because they didn't have them. For the service I paid for, I didn't receive the hospitality I was supposed to receive. On the other hand, they offered me a free minibar.

First of all we have a nice parking place. The personal is so kind, with a lot of attention to detail or necessities. The room is very large, with a very nice and big bed. The food of breakfast is fresh and the garden is a little piece of eden. Highly recommend this location that is so affordable in the crazy city of Napoli. Easy to walk to the downtown.

I would like to talk a lot about my experience at the hotel, but unfortunately, due to a know-it-all and very unpleasant receptionist, they did not allow us to stay. The situation was truly embarrassing, given that, having received an invitation from people who were already staying at the hotel, I went to the hotel to obtain an additional room, this was denied because the receptionist insinuated that, knowing the other guests, I would then spend the night in a room that was already full. , obviously all personal insinuations of the employee, as obviously we would never have "overcrowded" the room, but the point is that when we went to communicate this to our friends, who I repeat already had their room, and after we had already provided the documents as per procedure to be able to simply enter the hotel, he even called the police, the fact is that it was the same employee who allowed us to enter, so there was no forcing on our part, so much so that when the police arrived, the officers laughed (in a manner of speaking obviously) as we had not violated any rule or law at all. This is not a negative review for the structure which deserves the 4 stars, but for the behavior of the receptionist during the night, as he treated us like criminals, and wanted to know if we had taken the room, with very intimate private and I think inappropriate questions, if we had then spent the night with one of the girls who was already a customer, I think that is a truly unacceptable behavior for a hotel of this level. I repeat that when the police arrived and their inspection, no irregularities in our behavior emerged at all, a useless question was raised which has shocked those who are not a little, I hope that someone in charge will be able to answer me sooner or later since I also tried to have a very peaceful and civil discussion in the following days but which I was never able to have.
