Great place to be

Really cool bar! A s a foreigner (Swede) who travels alone sometimes, I appreciated the bartender, and the people going there, Latvians who were very open and welcomming.

A good, creative union.

Hidden by the roadside, this small pub has no sign, and the staff doesn't greet you inside, just playing cards. But it has a relaxed atmosphere; grab a beer, sit down, and the overall feeling is quite pleasant. The beer prices are reasonable, and there's a good selection. Since you can't buy any alcohol in Latvia supermarkets at night (due to alcohol restrictions), having a pub like this is very comforting!
