Hotel 1920.

We are very disappointed with our stay here. The air conditioning in our room was not working, making the room extremely hot and stuffy. After check-in, we were told the issue affected the whole building and that a technician might come later that evening or the next morning. When we followed up later, we were then told the problem was only with our room and that nothing could be done until the technician arrived the next day. The only solution offered was to sleep with the window open in a main street–facing room on a busy Friday night. To make matters worse, despite having a door-sized window/ventilator, there were no proper blackout curtains. The shutter-like covering did not go down all the way, so on top of the noise, heat, and frustration, we had a brightly illuminated room at 4am. When asked about changing rooms we were informed when this had happened last year, guests were offered alternative rooms, but none were available for us. By the time this was clarified, it was already around 11pm. One books a hotel room mainly to sleep, had we known earlier that the issue could not be resolved, we would have looked for another hotel.

The hotel's location is very central, but unfortunately the air conditioning wasn't working. The room (double room) was a good size. At breakfast, you could only choose one dish and there was no buffet, but the breakfast itself was very tasty and the cappuccino was exceptionally good. Good hotel.

The hotel is well located in the city center. We had already dropped off our rental car and arrived by taxi – parking can therefore be a bit tricky (there is a parking lot that the hotel refers guests to, but it's within walking distance). The rooms are modernly furnished. However, in our room (201), the shower screen was missing on one side, which meant the bathroom floor was completely flooded when we showered. Unfortunately, this leads me to conclude that maintenance isn't optimal. The location is excellent: Podgorica is easily explored on foot, and the pedestrian zone with its cafes is just 200 meters away. Our room faced the back, so we didn't hear any traffic noise, which was very pleasant. While we could hear the music from the bars (live music), it didn't bother me personally. Two bottles of water and two espresso capsules were provided free of charge in the room. Due to our early return flight, we unfortunately couldn't take advantage of the included breakfast (in the cafe next to the hotel). As a gesture of goodwill, we each received a bottle of orange juice in the morning instead. A very nice gesture. Unfortunately, the hotel works with local taxi companies that charge €20 for the trip to the airport, even though the usual price is around €15.

Good room, large, tidy, and very clean. A bit noisy, though. Parking is available for €10/24h a 5-minute walk away. The breakfast was a bit disappointing.

The room was very clean, and the receptionist was very nice and polite. The room was fully equipped, with a hairdryer, minibar, and coffee. We bought breakfast, which included one dish from the menu and one drink (coffee, tea, or fresh juice)! Truly GREAT 🙌
