Great location , rooms are a bit noisy . Very decorated hotel , nice breakfast. If they put double glasses could be a great option to stay in !
Had something to eat on the terrace today. Nice location, lots to see, but what a disaster. It took a long time before someone came, and that was only because we eventually raised our hand. The staff were out of order, the order got lost, meant even longer waiting, the wine was flat and minimal, but for 9 euros at that. Nothing could go wrong with a beer from a bottle. Just passed on the additional plate we ordered. A waste.
I booked two rooms at this 4-star hotel and was a regular guest for the seventh time. As a hotel member, I even received a Toblerone as a welcome gift upon check-in – unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect of this stay. I should have been suspicious as soon as I entered the hotel: several letters were missing from the hotel name at reception. This looked unkempt and was, unfortunately, a foretaste of what awaited us. The first room was dirty, and the shower drain didn't work. After just a few minutes, the entire bathroom was flooded. We had to try to prevent a flood with towels. At reception, we were told that the employee responsible had already finished for the day and that they wouldn't take care of it until the next morning. Despite the soaked towels, we didn't receive any fresh ones. The second room was even dirtier. There were red stains on the toilet and wall tiles, as well as a brown stain at the head of the bed. In the evening, we complained again and were once more told to come back the next day. The following morning, we complained again. The manager wasn't in the hotel and refused to speak to us by phone. Instead of a solution, we were forced to pay for both rooms in full and were told to leave the hotel within 30 minutes. For a 4-star hotel, the condition of the rooms and, in particular, the way legitimate complaints were handled is absolutely unacceptable. This is especially disappointing because I had stayed at the hotel six times previously and therefore expected a completely different level of quality and a much more professional approach. After this experience, I will definitely not book this hotel again and unfortunately cannot recommend it to other travelers. A wonderful stay in a unique historic hotel. We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Indigo The Hague – Palace Noordeinde. The hotel has a very special atmosphere because of its history as a former bank building. The combination of beautiful architecture, elegant details and modern comfort makes this place truly unique. Our room was lovely, the hotel was clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect for exploring the centre of The Hague. We especially enjoyed the historic character of the building and the feeling that we were staying somewhere with a real story. The old bank vault area was a very impressive detail and made our stay even more memorable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we felt very well taken care of during our stay. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We would happily come back and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for something special in The Hague. With kind regards, Olena and Olexander💛🩵
Cool
Thank you Jonas Baeyens and Cenne Gelvez. For the wonderful stay. Breakfast is 10/10. Beautiful Hotel and nice terrace. Staff is very attentive. Great location. Great service overall!
The good news: 1. Great location. 2. Beautiful old building. 3. INCREDIBLE service from the front desk staff -- Kaeman, Lucia, and Emila all deserve specific recognition for helping rescue what otherwise would have been a 1/5 review. The bad news: 1. Rooms dusty. 2. Room(s) in partial disrepair -- we had to move from one to another because of a broken panel in the shower that was threatening to collapse. 3. Air conditioning in the second room went off automatically every few hours -- including in the middle of the night, when it was not possible to reset it manually to the desired temperature -- meaning we roasted at night given the hot weather. 4. On the first night, the cleaners stopped halfway through the room and we had to tell the front desk to send them back to finish. 5. On subsequent nights, the cleaners failed to clean and replace coffee mugs, coffee capsules, sugar, etc. -- seems like there is no systemic plan, checklist, or perhaps appropriate training. Bottom line -- would not stay here again. Maybe IHG should not have licensed this property to a third-party entity to operate and maintain! As is, this hotel is barely worthy of three stars, NOT the four it claims.
