We stayed here for a weekend and had a wonderful experience. This is a truly cozy and authentic accommodation that immediately made us feel at home. We booked the attic room, which was beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. Everything had been thoughtfully prepared, including air conditioning, which kept the room pleasantly cool and comfortable throughout our stay. The location was perfect for exploring the city, with plenty of lovely cafés and restaurants nearby. What made our stay even more special was the owner, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. Thank you! We highly recommend this charming place to anyone looking for a cozy, authentic, and memorable stay. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful location right in the entertainment district. Nice room, good bed, but very noisy. Double-glazed windows in old frames rattle when it's windy. Communication is exclusively via WhatsApp. The TV didn't work. Breakfast not available until 8:00 AM.

I did not stay in the rooms I only had lunch there. GREAT location and atmosphere. Great soups. Friendly staff.

The room was beautiful, and the bathroom was exactly to our liking. It might have been a bit cozy, but that wasn't a problem for us. It was a bit warm in the room, but luckily there was both a fan and a cooler. The location is perfect, right in the city center with plenty of restaurants and other places around the corner. This might seem obvious, but I'll mention it anyway: being in the city center means there's a lot of noise outside. It was noticeable, and light sleepers might want to close the windows! Breakfast was also delicious; we really enjoyed it.

Wonderful place! It’s about a 15-minute walk from the train station, but once you arrive, a true gem awaits. The welcome is warm and memorable, and the interior has so much charm. The lobby even holds a little surprise—you’ll be amazed when you see it! I especially loved the cozy, guesthouse-like vibe that makes you feel like travelers have been coming here for years. Perfectly located with views over the canals—I highly recommend this spot!

The room is nicely decorated and the bed is comfortable. One shortcoming from my perspective was that there was no air conditioning unit, just a fan. I don’t have much experience with hotels in this country, but is it common to not have an AC unit? The temperature in the room will often be all right for you, but during the summer the degree of comfort can vary. If you're a light sleeper like me you will need earplugs on a Saturday or Friday night, with the street noise.

perfect place to stay in Utrecht! Really nice rooms, amazing breakfast and really nice staff! Due to the old building structure there are some things to know beforehand: steep and narrow staircases, bathroom can be located on the hallway and windows are not quite airtight so it may be noisy for light sleepers and a bit chilly in the winter. But since those were all aspects we knew ahead of time, that’s nothing to be considered in this feedback! We loved this place and would come back anytime again!
